Rebel Wilson has shared a message of gratitude to fans for their support after receiving bad news about her fertility journey.
Taking to Instagram on May 3, the 'Pitch Perfect' star, 41, shared a forlorn-looking picture of herself and a caption outlining her fears that she may never become pregnant.
Now, she has followed up her initial post with a sweet message to fans, writing: "Just wanted to say I woke up this morning and read through everyone's kind messages and stories about their journeys.
"I can't tell you how much that meant to me and has made me feel a lot better today.
"Social media for the win here in terms of creating connection when I was in a very lonely place. So thank you everyone [sic]."
After the actress's initial post about the bad news she received, fans flocked to the comments section to share their infertility stories and offer solidarity to the actress.
One Instagram user wrote: "I'm sorry that you are going through this. I'm in an adjacent boat. Been hoping that a baby would be here by now. We have been trying for two years come July. Nobody tells you how hard this is. But there can still be hope for miracles."

A second sympathetically added: "I'm so sorry Rebel. I wouldn't wish fertility issues on my worst enemy. Thinking of you. Stay strong xx."

Meanwhile, a third shared a hopeful story about their own infertility journey.
They wrote: "@rebelwilson it took me 7 years after my first daughter to get pregnant again!! I seriously thought it was never going to happen again and now I have 7 kids!! 6 girls and 1 boy! All c sections too! With your weight loss, it should happen! Worked for me."

The actress wrote in her initial post: "I got some bad news today and didn't have anyone to share it with...but I guess I gotta tell someone. To all the women out there struggling with fertility, I feel ya.
"The universe works in mysterious ways and sometimes it all doesn’t make sense...but I hope there’s light about to shine through all the dark clouds."
