Hollywood movie star Rebel Wilson has been delighting her fans on social media all year by documenting her fitness journey.
Now, her personal trainer Jono Castano has revealed how he went about helping the 40-year-old actress get into such incredible shape during 2020.
Speaking to TODAY, Castano revealed that Wilson is "definitely" his favorite high-profile client ever, despite working with famous faces in the past.

"It's definitely taught me to be able to cater to someone like Rebel, in terms of having someone of that level, who is able to trust you and also become amazing friends and grow such an awesome relationship through training," he explained to TODAY.

And for anyone out there thinking about embarking on their own health journey, Castano spoke to the publication about five tips you can use to help you along the way.
1. Be accountable
By holding yourself to account publicly and speaking about your goals, you hold yourself to a certain standard. "Rebel has been posting for the whole 2020 about her journey, the ups and downs," Castano said.
He also recommends finding a fitness community online, where you can share goals, ideas and even recipe ideas.

2. Think about how you're getting around
Castano promotes the #45Daily idea, whereby you move for 45 minutes a day, every day. He suggests that one way to do this is to rethink how you're getting around - you could walk or cycle rather than jumping in the car, for instance.
3. Use free tech to your advantage
Castano recommends downloading helpful fitness apps, particularly if they offer a basic free version, or a free trial.
He particularly recommends My Fitness Pal, ""You can set your goal and then it'll basically give you a breakdown in terms of how much calories you need to intake per day," he explains.

4. Build a home gym
Right now, working out in the gym is not possible for some, and unfeasible for others. With changing social distancing, lockdown and quarantining rules due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it's not so easy to make the gym part of your routine.
Castano advises using the money you would spend on a gym membership to build your own home gym. This could be as simple as just "a set of dumbbells or a kettlebell or two."
5. Portion control ideas
"Eat to be satisfied, not full," Castano says. One method of doing this, he reveals, is by splitting your three regular meals a day into two each and spacing them out a few hours apart. This gives you six smaller portions to eat throughout the day.

Earlier this year, Wilson took to Instagram last Thursday to reveal that she was in a relationship with millionaire Jacob Busch, sharing pictures of the two boarding a helicopter with Helen Mirren and Kate Beckinsale.
