A restaurant has called out Zachary Quinto, alleging that the Star Trek star made one of their employees cry with his behavior.
Manita restaurant in Toronto, which describes itself as a "Mediterranean-ish bistro", took to Instagram to share their claims.
They posted a statement on their Instagram story, telling their followers: "Zachary Quinto – an amazing Spock, but a terrible customer.
"Yelled at our staff like an entitled child after he didn’t reply to two texts to inform him his table was ready and refused to believe the empty tables in the dining room weren’t available for him despite being politely informed they were spoken for. Made our host cry and the rest of our brunch diners uncomfortable."

It added: "Mr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita but you are NOT one of them."
They later shared the post again on their main feed, adding: "To expand upon yesterday’s story re: Zachary Quinto: This isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last time an irate guest has taken their frustrations out on our staff.
"Manita is deeply grateful for our mostly incredible, friendly, gracious guests … who may give us constructive feedback from time to time.
"To all the other Zachary Quintos out there, on behalf of restaurant workers everywhere: We aren’t above criticism, but we are above being demeaned."

The restaurant did not elaborate further on what sparked the alleged incident, and the actor has yet to respond publicly to their claims.
Quinto, 47, had been in Canada celebrating his birthday on June 2, and shared a snap of him in a restaurant blowing out a candle on a cake, though it is not clear whether this was in Manita or not.

As well as the post above, Quinto also shared a photo of a 'Happy Birthday' sign on a wall as well as snap of him visiting Canada's Wonderland amusement park, commenting: "Thank you for such an incredible birthday adventure @canadaswonderland!!!"
Quinto found fame playing the villain Sylar in NBC's superhero series Heroes, which ran from 2006 until 2010.
He also took over the role of Spock in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek movie in 2009, reprising the role in 2013's sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness, as well as Star Trek Beyond in 2016.
A fourth Star Trek movie has been teased as being in development for several years, and Quinto has expressed his interest in returning once more.
He told Forbes in October 2022: "I’d love to play the role again and come back together with the team.
"I think we all love each other and we all love working on these stories. I’m confident that it will come together, but I just don’t have the space to consider what that looks like until I know it’s the real thing."
He added that he was unsure if the fourth movie would ever come about, explaining: "I have no idea if — or when — it will ever come together at this point.
"I think it’s better for everybody’s mental well-being to just trust that a lot’s happening and when the phone rings, and J.J. says, ‘Hey, we’re actually really going to do this,’ then I’ll show up.
“But until then, I have a lot of other stuff going on and a lot of stuff to turn my attention to.”
