A video showing Jada Pinkett Smith appearing to put husband Will on camera without his permission has resurfaced on social media.

The couple has been the center of a media frenzy ever since the Men in Black star slapped comedian Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards last month. After Rock made a joke about 50-year-old Pinkett Smith's shaved head, Will took to the stage and slapped him, in what has become one of the most infamous moments in Oscars history.

Following the drama, many social media users have been divided over who was in the right, and others opted to do a little digging into the Smiths' relationship.

And despite the fact the couple is often accused of "oversharing", a video has resurfaced online showing Will's negative reaction to having Jada put him on camera without his permission.

Check out the video below:

In the clip, which was reportedly taken from one of Jada's old Instagram Live videos, Pinkett Smith attempts to plug an upcoming episode of her Red Table Talk series, which was set to feature therapist Esther Perel. (Perel appeared on the show back in 2019, so it is believed this video was recorded around that time.)

However, after Pinkett Smith starts to record her visibly uncomfortable husband, she asks him: "You know Esther Perel is coming to the table, she’s gonna be at the Red Table. Would you say she has been instrumental in you and I redefining our relationship?"

The 53-year-old I Am Legend star then replies: "I would say don’t just start filming me without asking me."

To which, Jada replied: "Oh my goodness. Esther come help us again, please? I'm still dealing with foolishness."

Will then starts to stumble over his words, before Jada asks: "Would you say that she helped us heal the hurts that we caused between one another?"

"My social media presence is my bread and butter," Will replies. "So you can't just use me for social media. Don’t just start rolling, I’m standing in my house. Don’t start rolling."

Before Jada stops the recorded, she pans the camera around on herself and says: "Please watch Esther at the Red Table because she’s helped us a lot. Can’t you tell?"

The clip was shared on Reddit on Thursday, and has already amassed more than 86,000 upvotes from bewildered users and over 10,000 comments.

"Jim Carrey guessed right. Will is dealing with some serious s**t," one person commented, referring to Carrey's comments on the Oscars slap.

Others commented about how Will looks "anxious" and "tormented" in the clip.

One Redditor commented: "He looks tormented. [I've] gone from liking him, to hating disliking him to feeling sorry for him in the space of a week."

"This video is just painting a picture that Jada is emotionally abusive. Will Smith doesn't even want to engage with her, even looks defeated, and she's just pushing at him," another added.

Another person wrote: "Look how he’s holding himself. Look at his eyes. Absolutely terrifying."
