Singer Rihanna has called the President of the United States, Donald Trump, "the most mentally ill human being in America," in a recent interview.

Talking to Vogue Magazine for their November issue, Rihanna was asked her opinion of gun laws in the US and quizzed about the rise of mass shooting incidents in America, such as the incidents in El Pas in Texas and in Dayton in Ohio, which left a total of 32 people dead back in August.

Following the news of the slaughter of American citizens, President Trump tweeted: "Today’s shooting in El Paso, Texas, was not only tragic, it was an act of cowardice. I know that I stand with everyone in this Country to condemn today’s hateful act. There are no reasons or excuses that will ever justify killing innocent people. [sic]"

Trump later added: "Mental illness and hatred pulls the trigger - not the gun."

Responding to Trump's comments, Rihanna stated: "People are being murdered by war weapons that they legally purchase. This is just not normal. That should never, ever be normal. And the fact that it’s classified as something different because of the color of their skin? It’s a slap in the face. It’s completely racist."

She continued: "Put an Arab man with that same weapon in that same Walmart and there is no way that Trump would sit there and address it publicly as a mental health problem. The most mentally ill human being in America right now seems to be the president."

Not only that, but Rihanna has also confirmed that she has turned down an offer to headline the Super Bowl halftime show, in support of protesting player Colin Kaepernick.

But Rihanna certainly has a good sense of humor, as demonstrated by her birthday gift to actress Charlize Theron:
