In recent years, a good number of us have associated Ryan Reynolds primarily with Deadpool.
Of course, the 44-year-old actor has worked on some other fantastic projects in the past, including... Sesame Street apparently.
Back in 2010, he played the letter A on the popular children's show. Sounds pretty wholesome, right?
Well, leave it to the infamous joker that is Ryan Reynolds to turn it into something a little more R-rated.
It all started when a fan of his tweeted: "Watching a little [Sesame Street] with the kiddo, and it's an episode with [Ryan Reynolds] and the gang doing an A-Team gag. It's a delight, for both me and the kiddo."
The tweet included two pictures of the actor dressed in his letter A costume. The costume came with a hole at the top for Ryan to fit his head through.
Responding to the tweet, the funny actor quipped: "I remember how challenging it was to sing because the A-hole was so tight. But I pushed through because kids all over the country were counting on me."
Needless to say, Ryan's R-rated tweet went viral, with over 18,000 retweets and more than 200,000 likes at the time of writing.
People had plenty to say in response to his clever play on words.
One impressed fan commented: "The speed at which you veer back and forth between filthy and wholesome is delightful."
Another shared: "I may just make this my screensaver."
A third said: "I'll take 'Things you can't say on Sesame Street' for $1000."
A different fan joked: "You... You pushed through the A hole? Ryan put this tweet back in the oven it’s not done yet."
And the responses to Ryan's epic tweet just kept pouring in, with yet another person tweeting: "families all over watched you poke ur head through that tight a-hole."
A different fan suggested: "Surely they could’ve loosened it a bit for you."
This Twitter user shared: "I hate singing with a tight a-hole... you’re a hero and an inspiration to us all Mr. Reynolds."
