Ryan Reynolds has been showered with praise from fans after opening up about his "lifelong" struggle with anxiety.
The 44-year-old Deadpool actor is renowned for his sharp wit and cheerful demeanor, which has seen him play pranks on his wife Blake Lively as well as his co-stars and Hollywood pals.
However, beneath his animated exterior, it appears that Reynolds contends with the same mental health struggles as those of us who do not reside in Tinseltown.
On Wednesday, the dad-of-three took to his social media to share a post about his tendency to "over-worry" and "overthink" as Mental Health Awareness month draws to a close.
He wrote: "May is almost over. It's also Mental Health Awareness month. Which brings me to this. One of the reasons I'm posting this so late is I overschedule myself and important things slip. And one of the reasons I overschedule myself is my lifelong pal, anxiety."
The Canadian actor continued: "I know I'm not alone and more importantly, to all those like me who overschedule, overthink, overwork, over-worry and over-everything, please know you're not alone.
"We don't talk enough about mental health and don't do enough to destigmatize talking about it. But, as with this post, better later than never, I hope..."
It goes without saying that plenty of the actor's fans, friends, and co-stars have since taken to social media to praise him for allowing himself to be vulnerable as he spoke about the notoriously taboo topic.

Hugh Jackman responded: "Mate - your honesty is not only brave but, I’m positive will help countless others who struggle with anxiety too. Good on you!"
A fan shared: "I am the worrier of my family. I worry for everyone about everything. I wish I weren't like this. It means I am the party pooper all the time. I want to feel free and relax.
"My family says I don't know how. I remember feeling relaxed...once..at the beach in the sun listening to waves crash. ONCE. I'm almost 50!"
Another fan wrote: "This, is what few people without anxiety don't get, the "over-" part . Anything to make sure you're not idle to keep dark thoughts from consuming you."
And the praise just kept pouring in:
Thanks for shraing, Ryan - your thoughts and struggles are valid!
