Selma Blair has spoken out about experiencing the first symptoms of her multiple sclerosis condition.

Back in October 2018, the Cruel Intentions actress was diagnosed with the incurable disorder.

Blair, 48, knew something was amiss earlier that year went she lost feeling in her left leg during a runway walk at the New York Fashion Week show for designer Christian Siriano.

In a candid interview with Town & Country earlier this week, she recalled: "It was on that runway, with the thrill of walking in the show, that I suddenly lost feeling in my left leg. But I was on a runway and thinking, 'What do I do?'"

After the fashion show, the actress shared four striking images taken at the event and went on to describe the bizarre symptoms of the disease that she, at that point, was not aware she had.

Blair wrote: "3 years ago. My dearest two pals came to watch the Siriano show. I walked that day. In the show. Noticing for first time, my leg was numb. When I first stepped out. I couldn’t feel the ground or how to lift my left leg.

"My brain was trying to compute. As I walked the runway, stunned. It hardly dampened my day though. Art and Carolyn shot these favorite frames of mine. In that incredible space in nyc. After the show was done. And what a show it was. The greats."

About half a year later, Blair took to the app again to share her MS diagnosis with her fans.

In a very lengthy caption to the selfie she posted, she wrote: "I have #multiplesclerosis . I am in an exacerbation. By the grace of the lord, and will power and the understanding producers at Netflix , I have a job. A wonderful job. I am disabled. I fall sometimes.

"I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken gps. But we are doing it . And I laugh and I don’t know exactly what I will do precisely but I will do my best.

"Since my diagnosis at ten thirty pm on The night of August 16, I have had love and support from my friends."
