Sharon Osbourne has shared lengthy screenshots of her apology in order to debunk claims she did not say sorry to Sheryl Underwood.

The 68-year-old TV personality left The Talk at the end of March after she and Underwood got caught up in a heated argument over Piers Morgan.

Later, Underwood claimed on her podcast, as part of a three-part series titled 'Sharon Walks Away', that Osbourne had never apologized to her after the fallout. However, The Osbournes star has now shared with the Daily Mail screenshots proving that she had actually tried to make amends via text on at least three different occasions.

In the first message obtained by the paper, sent on 7:28PM on March 12 – two days after their argument – Osbourne wrote: "Sheryl, My heart is heavy and I'm deeply saddened by the events that transpired on Wednesday.

"I don't want to lose my true friend over this. Im sorry for telling you to f**k off during break, I'm sorry for accusing you of fake crying while we were live on air and I'm sorry for losing my temper with you.

"I felt shocked, scared and saddened by what felt like was a blind sided attack. You know me. You know how I've always had your back. We've outlasted everyone on this show and that's because we've always been a team and had each other's backs.

"I consider you a genuine friend. If you want to talk on the phone over the weekend I'm here. Once again from the bottom of my heart I'm sorry. Is there anything You need from me or that I can do to help you heal? Love and respect always - Sharon."

When Osbourne failed to get a reply from her former pal, she sent a follow-up message three days later, writing: "Hi Sheryl. I know you're taking space and I don't want to disrespect that.

"I'm just reaching out because I want you [to] know I'm thinking about you. If you are willing, can we talk before Wednesday? Big kiss."

After another three days with no response, the reality star simply wrote: "Sheryl I am thinking about you. Hope you are well. Sending my love."

The messages appear to indicate that Osbourne did indeed reach out to Underwood, despite the latter claiming on her podcast that the two of them had not spoken since their fiery on-air bust-up on March 10.

Asked if Osbourne had got in contact to apologize following the dramatic episode, Underwood replied "no" and even took out her phone to prove her claim.

In the now-infamous episode on The Talk, Osbourne defended Piers Morgan after he cast doubt on Markle's allegations against the Palace.

The Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood had asked Osbourne during the episode: "What would you say to people who may feel that while you're standing by your friend, it appears you gave validation or safe haven to something that he has uttered that is racist, even if you don't agree? Am I saying it right?"

In response, Osbourne said: "Educate me, tell me when you have heard him say racist things?"

She continued: "I very much feel like I'm about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend, who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist?"

Osbourne went on to say, "how can I be racist about anybody or anything in my life?" before uttering expletives.

Later in the show, she continued on the subject, telling Underwood: "And don't try and cry, because if anyone should be crying, it should be me."
