"Regretfully the Osbourne family have to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix because Ozzy is unable to travel at this time," she said on Thursday. "However Jack will be there flying the flag for the Osbournes."

She continued: "Everybody who bought the Osbourne package will of course get full refunds. We would like to thank you all for your constant support with Ozzy. It means so much to him, you have no idea.

"All I can do is apologize that we won't be there and I'm apologising to the people we've let down from my heart. So god bless you all. Thank you so much," Sharon added in the statement.

The event, a festival that focuses on horror and science fiction, will see the family's youngest, Jack Osbourne, still attend the event despite his father's health issues.

Thankfully fans took the news well, urging the family to prioritize Ozzy's health during this difficult time.

"Bless him. Absolutely no need to apologize, health and family comes first. Best wishes to him," wrote one user while another added: "Do whatever you and your family needs to do to protect @OzzyOsbourne life and health. As well as the rest of the family. That is indeed the most important thing to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sending much love to the whole family at this time!!!!!! XxOo."

A third also emphasized that Sharon should also take care of her physical and mental well-being alongside her husband's.

"I know how hard it is taking care of someone you love….it takes a huge toll….please take care of yourself, as well. It is ok to rely on others," they wrote.

"He won't tour again but we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like "I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye properly,'" she said.

"We will do it in Aston Villa where Ozzy is from. His voice is still absolutely perfect. And all the time he has been off he still does his singing lessons so his voice is perfect. And he can joke yeah," she added.
