Biles is unquestionably one of, if not the best gymnast on the planet right now but for whatever reason, some people just can't handle it.

During the Paris Olympics, Biles added three more gold medals to her tally, yet faced taunting from spectators and critics have even scrutinized her hairstyle choices.

However, it wasn't just anonymous online users who criticized Biles this time.

NFL player Marlon Humphrey publicly took issue with Biles and her teammate Jordan Chiles over their reaction to Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade's gold medal win.

While posing on the podium with their medals, Biles and Chiles bowed to Andrade in a show of sportsmanship and respect.

This gesture, shared on Twitter by SportsCenter, celebrated Andrade's first gold medal of the summer.

Humphrey, unimpressed by this display, labeled it "literally disgusting."

Biles defended her actions in an interview with the TODAY show on August 6, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship.

"I think it's all about sportsmanship, and we don't care whether we win or lose," Biles stated. "We're always going to keep a good face and support our competitors because they've worked just as hard as we have for that moment."

She continued: "You have to give them their flowers and that's exactly what me and Jordan were doing. We were so happy for her. She deserved it, she had the best floor routine of the day, and of the Olympics."

Others were on hand to defend Biles under Humphrey's post, as one person said: "Yeah, because giving someone their flowers who has come back from THREE ACL tears to continue to be a top gymnast is disgusting."

And another person added: "These girls know each other, Rebeca has been trying to win gold and she finally did. They are happy for her. Please relax."

In regards to people criticizing Biles' hair, the Olympian took to social media, addressing the fixation with it.

Alongside a clip of herself fanning on the team bus, she wrote: "Don’t come for me about my hair. IT WAS DONE but bus has no AC and it’s like 9,000 degrees. Oh and a 45-minute ride."

She further emphasized: "Gonna hold your hand when I say this. Next time you wanna comment on a Black girl’s hair. JUST DON’T."
