SNL staff have spoken out after Morgan Wallen walked off stage during the end credits, accusing him of being "disrespectful".
The country star left viewers stunned after abruptly walking offstage during the final credits of Saturday Night Live, and now insiders are spilling behind-the-scenes tea about what really went down.
Wallen was the musical guest for the night, performing his songs 'I'm The Problem' and 'Just In Case' on one of television’s most iconic stages.
But instead of basking in post-show glory, Wallen stormed off just as the credits began to roll, completely skipping the long-standing tradition where guests remain onstage to thank the cast and celebrate together.
He walked right past the cameras, through the audience, and straight out - leaving guest host Mikey Madison, who just won an Oscar for Anora, awkwardly alone onstage to congratulate the cast by herself.
Now, SNL staffers are calling out what they say was “completely disrespectful” behavior, not just in that moment, but throughout the night.

One insider told the Daily Mail that Wallen was “unprofessional the entire time” and claimed he had “a chip on his shoulder.”
According to the anonymous staffer, Wallen “seems to believe his own press,” and acted like a “massive star” who expected to be treated like SNL was “lucky to have him.”
When that didn’t happen, "he threw a tantrum,” they said.
His dramatic exit might just be the end of his SNL run altogether. The source alleged that Wallen has now been “blackballed from ever appearing on SNL again.”
If that wasn’t enough, Wallen also skipped the show's legendary afterparty. Instead, he shared a photo on his Instagram story of his private jet, captioned: “Get me to God’s Country.”
“His post right after was a total slap in the face for the folks who work so hard on the show,” said the source.

Longtime cast member Kenan Thompson weighed in on Wallen’s cryptic caption and behavior during a recent interview, saying: “The ‘God’s country’ of it all is strange because it's like, what are you trying to say? You trying to say that we are not in God's country? We're not all in God's country? We're not all under God's umbrella? That's not necessarily my favorite.”
Thompson didn’t hold back, adding: “I don't know what goes through people's minds when they decide to do stuff like that. I don't know if he understood the assignment or not, or if he was really feeling a certain kind of way.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Wallen has caused friction with SNL.
Back in October 2020, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, his scheduled appearance was canceled after videos surfaced of him partying and ignoring social distancing rules.
He later apologized, saying: “My actions this past weekend were pretty shortsighted and they have obviously affected my long-term goals and my dreams.”
His apology was accepted, and SNL gave him a second chance two months later.
