Viewers spotted Sofía Vergara's 'awkward' reaction as Kevin Hart was introduced on The Graham Norton Show.
The pair appeared on the January 12, 2024 episode alongside actress Jodie Comer and Scottish-American star Alan Cumming.
As the host welcomed Hart onto the show, the audience erupted into applause. But cameras quickly cut to the 54-year-old Colombian star, who appeared to give the comedian a playful eye-roll and a look of mock disbelief.
Although it was clearly all part of their long-running friendship, viewers couldn't get enough of the moment.
One person wrote on X: "Sofia Vergara's reaction to Kevin Hart is everyone in the UK tonight."
Another added: "OMG LOVE her, she's sooo funny!" A third pointed out: "Sorry to disappoint. But they're actually pretty good friends."
"It's called being friends and joking around," another viewer agreed.
The light-hearted exchange came as no surprise to fans, with the pair spending much of the interview playfully roasting one another.
Vergara looked back at Hart's guest appearance on Modern Family, and joked that she was relieved she didn't have to share scenes with him.
"I was lucky because I wasn't in that scene," she told Norton as Hart sat beside her. "I didn't really see him that day, it was [Modern Family costar] Phil Dunphy. But I knew he was there in that episode. And it was great to have him in one episode - I was in 11 seasons."
She then added: "It was, you know, one of my favorite things to do in the whole world because it was like going to work with my family and it was amazing," before teasing Hart again.
"And that day that [Hart] went I wasn't there, so it really doesn't make any difference in my life."
Hart, who appeared twice as neighbor Andre during season three of the sitcom, couldn't resist getting one last joke in.
"I still connect with a lot of them," he said. "We still talk. Because they say… my episode was one of the best!"
Later, as Hart explained the plot of his action film, Lift, Vergara interrupted with another quip.
"It took you a long time, huh!" she joked. "What?" Hart replied. "You know what? In this one, I'm not the Kevin you knew of old. I'm big, I'm a leading man."
"Good for you, but you took a long time," Vergara responded.
"You should start respecting me more, now that I'm an action star," Hart laughed. "I'm not the Kevin from Modern Family. Things have changed!"
Elsewhere in the interview, Vergara opened up about taking on the role of the infamous Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco in Netflix's Griselda.
"The hardest thing was that I had to wear a wig, fake teeth, fake nose, and have a plastic forehead," she said. "I also had to wear uncomfortable bras that pushed me down to make me look less Latin.
"It was a complicated character for me, but it was my first film in Spanish which was so liberating," she added.
Vergara also reflected on the emotional end of Modern Family, admitting it was "heartbreaking" to say goodbye to the cast.
"We were all very, very sad, because, you know, it's the people you want to see every day, and you do get separated when you finish," she said.
"Also, the day that we ended Modern Family, two weeks later, the pandemic happened. So we didn't see each other. Like really, it was just like, oh, suddenly we don't see each other anymore. It was really hard."
She said she still keeps in touch with many of her former castmates "every time we can".

Ever since the Harvey Weinstein scandal broke in 2017, people have been Hollywood personalities accountable for their sexually inappropriate behaviour. As a result, we've seen the likes of Kevin Spacey, Louis CK, and Aziz Ansari face consequences of varying degrees for their harassment and abuse of men and women - most of which occurred before Weinstein was outed as a sexual predator.
Since then, other celebrities have been put under a magnifying glass for their behaviour, with many famous folks being called out for incidents that happened years, even decades, ago. The latest occurrence of this has been with Gordon Ramsay, whose predatory actions have been exposed in an interview with Sofia Vergara from 2010.
During the interview, which took place on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Ramsay acts in an overtly sexualised manner towards Vergara, and fails to respond to her obvious discomfort.
The first uncomfortable moment occurs when Vergara asks, "Did I scare you guys?" while referencing a previous skit on the show that night. "I never scream like that in real life. It was all acting."
Ramsay's response to this is: "Only in the bedroom?"
The Colombian actress does not respond to the comment at all, and instead looks quite clearly offended. This does not stop Ramsay, however, who then goes on to make more lewd comments throughout the segment, and at one point even touches Vergara's upper thigh.
"No touching!" she says in response to this - almost comedically, but with clear and serious intent.
A Twitter compilation of the most inappropriate moments has been making the rounds on social media, and many fans of the chef are outraged to discover him showing such blatant disrespect and crudeness.

"That was so uncomfortable to watch," said one person.
"The worst part is that it’s obvious she’s really unhappy with the situation but feels like she has to laugh along," added another. "It’s horrible."
And one person brought up the fact that Ramsay has a family. "How did his wife and children feel when they watched their husband and father aggressively sexually harass a women on national television?" they said.
Others, meanwhile, were annoyed that a fuss was being made over a clip that's almost a decade old.
"Why are you trying to lash out about something that is almost a decade old?" wrote one Twitter user. "There is a difference between holding someone accountable and digging up the passed because you’re bored. It’s like spanking a child for something the did 9 years ago (like when this interview was)."

The problem is, we all knew it was wrong back then - it shouldn't have taken someone like Harvey Weinstein being internationally shamed and punished for his behaviour for other people to change their actions. Plus, Ramsay wasn't a child. He was well aware of his actions and how Vergara was feeling, and yet he still acted inappropriately.
Ramsay may not have shown other behaviour like this since the interview in 2010, but this incident is yet another worrying reminder that even the most beloved of celebrities are capable of letting their fans down occasionally. Hopefully, he has learned from his mistakes.

Sofia Vergara shut down a male interviewer in Spain that was making fun of her accent.
The 51-year-old Modern Family actress has been promoting her forthcoming Netflix series, Griselda, in which she plays a Colombian drug cartel leader named Griselda Blanco, who became known as the "Black Widow or Cocaine Godmother," of the underworld from the 70s.
Earlier this week, Vergara appeared on the Spanish program El Hormiguero to discuss the TV series, however, she became visibly irritated by local broadcaster Pablo Motos's line of questioning.
Speaking in her language, Vergara was discussing her role as Gloria Pritchett in the hit comedy sitcom Modern Family, which aired from 2009 to 2020.
Watch the moment below:While she was answering a question, the presenter interrupted her and asked: "How do you say Modern Family?" before imitating the Colombian beauty's accent.
Known for her quick wit, the award-winning actress responded with a deadpan expression, saying: "Did I say it wrong? Oh, because you speak better English than me? Ah," and turned away from the presenter.
Then when Motos began to speak again, she quickly shut him down as she mockingly questioned: "How many Emmy nominations do you have in the United States?"
Vergara then referenced the award show that just happened on Sunday (January 7), adding: "How many times did they nominate you at the Golden Globes?" - letting Motos know that she earned four Golden Globes and four Emmy nominations for her role in the 11-season run sitcom.
Upon seeing her clapback, many fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise her for defending herself, with one user writing: "Men and their bad misogynistic habit of trying to humiliate women, even when in this interview she is a MUCH more recognized guest than him. She swept it calmly, said 'Let's compare ourselves, let's see.'"
Another chimed in: "And that is why, among other things, Sofía Vergara is adored," while a third commented: "Don't you dare to disrespect my woman."
A fourth added: "Criticizing anyone's accent or pronunciation has a hint of unmitigated supremacism that legitimizes much of the xenophobia in English-speaking countries, but for a Spaniard to do it? The audacity."
According to News.com.au, the interviewer had gotten on Vergara's bad side earlier in the interview when he made comments about her hair and eyelashes, stating that they were fake.
"I guess it’s a lie that you are a natural blonde," Motos said, referencing a younger picture of her in which she had darker hair. "The hair you have now. Is it dyed or natural?" he questioned, to which Vergara launched back: "It’s mine. I was 20 years old, now I’m 51 years old… What do you want? You were born with your hair that color? Did you dye it?"
The presenter also claimed to have watched Vergara's upcoming TV show but referred to her character's name incorrectly.
"She really wasn’t named Griselda 'Marcos,' she was named Griselda 'Blanco,'" she clarified. "But because you saw the entire series … I knew I was going to catch you."
Griselda debuts on the streaming service on January 25.

Sofia Vergara has turned up the heat this summer as she's shared a snap of herself basking in the sunshine, and she looks incredible.
The 50-year-old is best known for her work on Modern Family, as well as being a judge on America's Got Talent, and she is defying time.
For any Modern Family fans out there, it's obvious why Phil Dunphy was spellbound by Gloria throughout the series, isn't it?
The Colombian-American actress took to Instagram last week where she shared a photo of herself enjoying the weather by her swimming pool, and it has left fans speechless.
Lying facedown wearing nothing but a black bikini bottom thong, the 50-year-old will definitely have stopped people scrolling for a moment.
Some can't believe that she's 50 years old as it seems like the effects of time that ravage a lot of us haven't been able to leave a mark on Vergara.
One person commented under the post: "She looks so young," and a second added: "Ultimate goals to look like this at her age."
A third person said: "If I don't look like this at 50 I don't want it," and a fourth simply concluded: "50 years young."
Vergara sat down with Home Business Magazine earlier this year, where she opened up about her beauty and the passage of time.
"Well, it's great that at this age I'm still considered a beauty icon because, you know, after you start feeling time goes by, things change," Vergara said.
She continued: "So, of course, I love it, I think it's great that I'm showing a little bit more of the Latin looks all over the world, I'm showing a little bit of my ethnicity off."
Though it should be noted that as well as her natural beauty, a lot of hard work goes into maintaining her body, which her trainer, Jennifer Yates, revealed is mainly down to Pilates.
"We do a lot of squats and deadlifts, and we do a lot of things off the machine as well," Yates told Women's Health. "Recently, we've been combining some of the heavier weights for the lower body because she's trying to put a little more mass on, so we've been doing a lot of work with kettlebells."
Yates made it clear that Vergara is dedicated to maintaining her physique and even takes her workout equipment with her on vacation.

As Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in Modern Family, Sofia Vergara was characterised as the significantly younger second wife of her husband Jay. However, as the Colombian actress took to social media on her birthday today, nobody could believe just how old she is.
The America's Got Talent judge has been known to share some jaw dropping pictures on Instagram over the years, but not many have generated the sort of reaction that today's post has.
Sharing two photos, Vergara captioned the post, "Waking up here on my 51st birthday! Still with health, dreams, energy (my knees already hurt) but with a lot of joy to live! Thank you all for the messages!!"
The actress is currently vacationing in Italy, but it wasn't the stunning location behind her that was grabbing all the attention. It was the fact that Vergara has turned 51 years of age.
It appeared that no one could quite believe that the four time Emmy Award nominee was in her fifties and were quick to celebrate her age in the replies to the post.
Entrepeneur Tina Chen Craig commented, "Yessss we over 50 and fabulous" while another user replied, "But are you sure about your age?! 51! You are naturally beautiful", with another adding, "Why you say it why you don't look a day over 30 then".
Vergara's fellow judge on America's Got Talent, supermodel Heidi Klum, also shared a message of positivity in the replies, saying, "I love you Sofia. I am so lucky to have you in my life. Happy Birthday".
Over the past 15 years, Vergara has become one of the biggest household names in television, thanks to her 11 seasons as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family. For the role she earned four Golden Globe and four Emmy nominations. The ABC comedy came to an end in April 2020 and since then, the 51-year-old has enjoyed success as a judge on another ABC institution, America's Got Talent.
The Colombian sensation has amassed over 30 million followers on Instagram and is regularly cited as one of the most influential Latin American celebrities in the world. She will also star as the titular character Griselda Blanco in upcoming Netflix drama series Griselda, which she will also produce alongside Eric Newman.

Graham Norton has shed light on a surprising behind-the-scenes detail regarding Taylor Swift's appearance on his popular BBC talk show last autumn.
The chart-topping singer, who recently tied the knot, made a late addition to the guest list last October while promoting her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
When Swift joined the broadcast, viewers noticed that the famous red sofa looked exceptionally crowded. This cozy arrangement was not a coincidence, as Norton recently explained the logistics of her booking in an interview with GQ.
According to the host, the pop star was booked at the very last minute, presenting the production team with a difficult scheduling dilemma.
Because the episode was already fully booked, the show's producers initially assumed they would have to remove another guest to make room for the global superstar. "The show was fully booked. So we thought, 'We’re going to have to bump somebody'," Norton told the magazine.
However, Swift refused to let anyone lose their spot on the program. "Word came back from Taylor: no one must be bumped," Norton revealed. This decision meant that the sofa remained packed, but it ultimately led to an unexpected collaboration for everyone involved.
Because of the crowded lineup, every single guest on the couch that night ended up participating in Swift's music video for her song 'Opalite,' which was released the following February.
The star-studded sofa that night included Irish actor Cillian Murphy, Lewis Capaldi, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, and Jodie Turner-Smith. During the recording, Gleeson made a joke about wanting to appear in one of her videos, which sparked an idea for Swift.
"I had this thought that it would be wild if all of our fellow guests on the Graham Norton show that night, including Graham himself, could be a part of it too," Swift later explained to her fans on Instagram. She described the host as "insanely charismatic and lovable."
The singer expressed immense gratitude for how the group came together to support the project, comparing the experience to a fun collective effort. "Like a school group project but for adults and it isn’t mandatory. To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90s with us and help with this video," she shared.
Swift added that she "got ridiculously lucky with the group [she] was paired with, as they were "all people whose work [she’s] admired from afar."
