Everyone likes a bit of nostalgia from time to time, whether it's rewatching a childhood movie, playing an old song, or reminiscing about your formative years, it does the heart good to look back and reflect.
But this week, Modern Family actress Sophia Vergara has shared an amazing throwback photo from her teenage years on her official Instagram account, and it's fair to say that her fans are absolutely loving it.
Take a look at her 90s throwback clip below:Taking to Instagram, Sophia shared a smoldering picture of herself from way back in the '80s when she still lived in Columbia, wearing a bright yellow bikini.
Not only that, but she also shared a short clip of herself as a television presenter in the '90s, for the Univision's Spanish travel show Fuera De Serie, which saw her travel all over South America to talk about the best travel destinations on the continent.
Vergara commented on her career in a prior interview with The Independent, in which she stated: "I was a TV host in a Latin network, and from there, I learned that women were very attracted to whatever I was doing. They were not afraid to ask me: 'What color is your hair? What lipstick are you wearing?'"
She continued: "With my manager’s plan, I have always done these businesses, but I would have never done it so well if I hadn’t have been lucky to get a role like Modern Family that made me so popular and a household name."
She added: "For me, sexy is something that I never really thought about until I moved to the United States because in Latin America, everybody goes to the beach with a G-string and you are always in high heels and make-up. It’s just our day-to-day thing."
