Some NFL fans aren’t feeling the Taylor Swift fever as her Eras Tour commercial was met with a chorus of boos at MetLife stadium.
While the NFL reaps the financial rewards of the pop star being attached to the reigning Super Bowl champions, it seems like some paying fans are tired of Swift being the talk of the season.
Rumors between Travis Kelce and the 33-year-old popstar have been rampant for the past few weeks after the NFL star confessed on The Pat McAfee Show that he attempted to shoot his shot with her backstage at her Eras tour.
His efforts to woo the 12-time Grammy award winner paid off as the singer was seen cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs with Kelce's mom, Donna, during their game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24.
The pair were even spotted getting cozy at an afterparty after the winning match.

The speculations on the pair's romance intensified on Sunday (October 1) night, as Swift made an appearance at MetLife Stadium to watch her rumored beau and his team play against the Jets.
This time all eyes were on the 'Shake It Off' singer as she brought along a star-studded entourage which included Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner, Ryan Reynolds, and Blake Lively.
However, the mood inside the same stadium was a little different 24 hours later after a promotional image of the artist's ticket sales to her hugely successful tour was savagely booed during the game between the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants.
Watch the moment below:While the league seems to be capitalising on the singer's presence at games considering around a staggering 27 million people watched the Chiefs match on Sunday, it seems like many people are now beginning to feel tired of the Swift mania as they took to Instagram to express their honest opinions.
One user wrote: "I agree…enough is enough," while another said: "Good. I think I speak for all football fans we are TIRED of hearing about Taylor Swift."
A third commented: "Taylor Swift and football don’t go together, stop forcing it on us," and a fourth added: "Naw seriously, stop showing her every 15 seconds. We want to watch a FOOTBALL GAME."
The backlash didn't stop there as the NFL Instagram account wrote "The Chiefs are 2-0 as Swifties" in their bio, however, it was removed a few hours later after it was met with hundreds of negative responses from fans.
"Honestly it’s really freaking annoying, all of this Taylor Swift stuff. Makes me not wanna watch those games," one disappointed fan on the platform X wrote.
A second shared the same sentiment, writing: "They [are] adding Taylor's fans to the league but they [are] losing the actual NFL fans."

Nevertheless, the NFL has embraced the Kelce-Swift craze as after the Chiefs defeated the New York Jets 23-20, the official Twitter/X account briefly changed its profile banner picture to three images of Swift cheering along.
According to the Daily Mail, it was even claimed that the official broadcast camera cut to the world-famous musician 17 times during the match.
And to top it off, the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New York Jets ended up being the most watched Sunday night NFL match since the Super Bowl.
So, while some NFL fans claim that Swift is "destroying football," it looks like she's bringing in a whole new audience for the league with her viral appearances.
