Eagle-eyed Swifties think they've only gone and cracked the name of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' third child, in Taylor Swift's new song, Betty, from Folklore.

The actors have two daughters, five-year-old James, and three-year-old Inez, and they welcomed a third daughter last year, whose name has not been publically announced.

Now, this happens to be quite a coincidence, because Taylor's new song Betty includes the names of Blake and Ryan's oldest children, James and Inez, in the lyrics;

"You heard the rumours from Inez / You can't believe a word she says / Most times, but this time it was true / The worst thing that I ever did / Was what I did to you."

The song goes on:

"She said "James, get in, let's drive / Those days turned into nights / Slept next to her, but / I dreamt of you all summer long"

So, people naturally took to Twitter to say that if James and Inez are included then it only stands to reason that the other name in the song, Betty, must belong to their newest sibling.

Taylor has been close friends with the Gossip Girl star for a number of years, and her oldest daughter, James, even appeared in Taylor's song Gorgeous, so it only stands to reason that Taylor would pay tribute to Blake's youngest daughter too.

Folklore is the eighth studio album by the American singer-songwriter. It was released with little fanfare on the 24th July of this year through Republic Records. It comes eleven months after Swift's Lover.

The album was created in isolation during the novel coronavirus pandemic. The surprise album was announced on social media just hours before it dropped on streaming platforms, and is largely an indie-folk record - a marked departure from the mainstream pop of Swift's previous releases.
