Tiffany Haddish recently joked about her DUI arrest during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Earlier this month, the Bad Trip actress, 42, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after authorities received a call about a driver asleep at the wheel, the Independent reports.

It was revealed on the show that Haddish's appearance had been booked months ago, with Fallon explaining that, as a friend of hers, he would have understood if she'd have canceled.

Praising her, he said: "But you were like, 'No, I'm a pro. I'm gonna come on.'"

Fallon then gave the comedian an opportunity to discuss the recent incident she had been involved in.

And Haddish, who called it quits with rapper Common in November, decided to inject some light humor into the interview as she spoke about the incident that saw her arrested in Georgia some weeks ago.

The comic said: "Well, I can say this Jimmy. I've been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man. And God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform."

She added: "I wasn't expecting that at all. Now I got a really great lawyer and we are going to work it out. I've got to get my asking of things to God a little better."

Haddish also spoke candidly about her grief over the passing of her grandma who raised her, as well as her dog and her showbiz friends Bob Saget and Carl Craig.

"Yeah, one of our mutual friends Bob Saget who was like a big mentor to me, a big brother, father figure. He meant a lot to me," she said. "Funny man. He was the first white man to ever tell me, 'Just be yourself. Just be who you are Tiffany, don't worry about nothing just be you' and that was huge for me."

Speaking about her late grandmother, Haddish said: "She saved my life" and referred to her as her "soulmate".

It was "really hard to process all this grief," she added.
