Being the child of a celebrity isn't always what it's cracked up to be. On the one hand, you're probably going to grow up pretty comfortable, experiencing plenty of luxury in an opulent childhood.
But on the other hand, many children of the rich and famous struggle to escape the long shadow cast by their parents - sometimes choosing to stay out of the limelight entirely and avoid the cameras and publicity.
One such person is Bella Kidman Cruise, the 27-year-old daughter of renowned Hollywood actors Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

Bella is an artist, often sharing pictures of her work to Instagram, but doesn't often upload pictures of herself.
However, on Saturday she treated her 22,000 followers to a rare picture of herself, and you can see that she's just as cool as her mom and dad.

The selfie was left uncaptioned, and showed Bella wearing a leopard-print top, a black leather jacket, a pair of dangling earrings, and a pair of dark, round sunglasses.
Earlier this month, she also shared a candid mirror selfie, filtered with a sparkly effect, this time captioned: "All that glitters is gold.. oh wait, it’s just another Instagram filter. [sic]"

Back in 2018, Kidman opened up about her relationship with daughter Bella and adopted son Connor Antony whom she also shares with Cruise. The Moulin Rouge actress told the Australian publication Who:
"They are able to make their own decisions.
"They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them. No matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here."

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman first met in November of 1989 on the set of the movie Days of Thunder, and were married in December 1990, in Telluride, Colorado.

They adopted Bella in 1992 and Connor Antony in 1995, before separating in 2001, citing irreconcilable differences.
