Tom Holland and Zendaya have reportedly "confirmed" their real-life romance after the actors were photographed kissing in Los Angeles on Thursday.

As reported by Page Six, the two Spider-Man stars were caught on camera putting on a PDA while taking a ride in Holland’s $125,000 Audi sports car.

After Holland, 25, was photographed caressing Zendaya's face as they shared a kiss, the pair were then snapped pulling a hilariously cute face at one another.

Page Six notes that the images were taken in the Silver Lake neighborhood of LA - not far from where 24-year-old Zendaya's mother lives.

However, as of this writing, neither of the actors have confirmed the "romance" (and knowing these two, we could all be being played here). Nevertheless, with the apparent news that MJ and Spider-Man have actually hooked up in real life, their fans quickly rushed to social media to share their reactions.

And the Twitter responses have been a goldmine when it comes to wholesome and hilarious content.

Some people were just straight-up jealous:

Others couldn't get over how cute the pair were:

One response pointed out that we've seen this before from Spider-Man actors:

Some Marvel fans are still holding out hope for another MCU couple:

And others were convinced that the pair were definitely playing us:

Well... that last tweet certainly hit me hard.

And it is true, both Holland and Zendaya are gearing up for the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is currently due for release around the Christmas period.

Despite many rumors swirling around regarding the plot of the movie (*cough* multiverse *cough*), not a lot is actually known about what fans can expect from the upcoming third installment. However, per The Digital Fix, both Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina are set to return as villains Electro and Doctor Octopus respectively - meaning a multiverse storyline is pretty much confirmed, right?

But in regards to these paparazzi pics - let's hope we get some clarification sooner rather than later.
