Tom Holland has spoken out after fans became concerned that he and girlfriend Zendaya had called it quits.

Rumors began swirling earlier this week after the actress unfollowed her Spider-Man co-star and boyfriend on Instagram.

Fans swiftly took to social media to express their worries about the unfollowing, with some fearing that it might be a sign of a breakup between the two stars.

One concerned individual wrote: "Whyyyy did Zendaya remove Tom from Instagram???? Mama miaaaa don't let it be..." Another added: "Break up news is coming I fear," while a third pleaded, "For the glory of my mother! Don't scare me like that."

However, it wasn't long before others noticed that The Greatest Showman star - who boasts a staggering 184 million followers on the social media platform - had actually unfollowed everyone on Instagram.

While some people debated whether or not Zendaya's Instagram purge may be related to her upcoming film projects - as she is set to star in both Dune: Part Two and The Challengers in the coming months - and that she may want to utilize her platform simply for promotional purposes, other fans were still up in the air about the couple's relationship status.

Fortunately, Holland has now addressed the rumors.

During a recent encounter with a TMZ photographer, the Spider-Man star was asked about his relationship status, and he responded with a clear and definitive answer.

As the paparazzo engaged in some casual conversation with Holland, he didn't waste any time getting to the burning question. "Have you split up with Zendaya?" the photographer inquired directly.

Holland's response was unambiguous and left no room for speculation. He firmly replied, "No, absolutely not."

There we go, everyone - we can all collectively exhale. With this straightforward statement, Holland has set the record straight and reassured fans that he and Zendaya are still very much together.

Zendaya and Holland, who have been close friends for years, made headlines in 2021 when they seemingly confirmed their romantic relationship.

Despite their rather private relationship, the couple occasionally share heartfelt Instagram posts about each other, often on special occasions like birthdays.

In fact, fans were whipped into a frenzy of speculation back in September when Zendaya posted a picture that led fans to believe she was wearing an engagement ring. However, she promptly dispelled these rumors in a video by pointing out that the ring was on her right hand, not her left, saying: "I posted [the picture] for my hat…

"Like, not for the ring on my right finger, you guys. Seriously, you think that's how I would drop the deuce? Like, what?!"
