The 56-year-old comedian’s night at MSG took a dramatic turn when fans witnessed him hunched over in his seat, visibly unwell.

According to eyewitness reports on X (formerly Twitter), Morgan was bleeding from the nose and could barely stand up before being taken away in a wheelchair.

Video footage captured by a fan, @realJoshieBrown, showed Morgan wiping his face with a towel as multiple MSG staff members rushed to assist him.

The game was temporarily halted for 10 minutes in the third quarter while medics helped Morgan and cleaned up the affected area on the court, per Fox News.

One man, sitting beside Morgan in a black T-shirt and blue Knicks hat, appeared visibly concerned as the situation unfolded.

Following the unsettling moment, MSG issued a statement via The New York Post: "We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside."

Even Knicks player Josh Hart took a moment to acknowledge Morgan’s lifelong dedication to the team, saying after the Knicks' 116-95 victory: "We hope everything is good with Tracy Morgan, avid lifetime Knicks fan, so prayers go out to him and his health and safety."

Morgan, a regular courtside fixture at Knicks games, was even seen earlier in the night sitting next to Yankees star Aaron Judge.

A day after the health scare, Morgan took to Instagram to give fans an update - and his response was classic Tracy.

"Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning," he wrote, alongside a photo of himself giving a thumbs-up from a hospital bed.

Morgan also gave a special shout-out to the Madison Square Garden staff who took care of him - and the unfortunate clean-up crew.

"Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!"

Never one to miss a comedic moment, he even joked that his unexpected illness might have been a good luck charm for the team.

"More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs #goknicks."

While this latest incident appears to have been just a case of food poisoning, Morgan has a history of serious health battles.

In 2010, he underwent a kidney transplant due to complications from diabetes and then in 2014, he survived a horrific car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, when a Walmart truck slammed into his limousine.

His close friend and mentor, James McNair, was killed in the accident while Morgan suffered a broken leg, was in a coma for two weeks, and spent five months in a wheelchair while relearning how to walk and talk.

Last year, he reflected on his miraculous recovery while attending SNL50, the 50th-anniversary celebration of Saturday Night Live.

"Just thank the Lord that I’m a part of this, that I survived the accident and I’m alive to be here for this," he told SNL50: The Red Carpet Special host Matt Rogers.

Most recently, Morgan made headlines for his use of Ozempic, a medication for type 2 diabetes that has also been popular for weight loss.

"Ozempic did great by me, and I was glad to use it," he told E! News in March 2024, joking that it cut his appetite in half: "Now I only eat half a bag of Doritos."
