Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend Maya Benberry has cautioned Taylor Swift about her budding new romance with the NFL star.
Rumors between the athlete and the 33-year-old popstar have been rampant for the past few weeks, and it intensified over this weekend when the pair were spotted together in the locker room following a Kansas City Chiefs game.
While Swifties are enjoying the romance rumors between the two stars, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's ex-partner has offered some stark advice to the musician.
Benberry - who is a marketing and brand consulting expert - claimed "the man that [she] knew him to be when [they] dated" is an unfaithful one.
"Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!", she told DailyMail.
"I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is really there for her - and who is just using her," she added.
The 31-year-old hopes the 'Love Story' songstress "comes out the teacher in this situation and not the student," sharing that she can only offer experience based on who she "knew Travis to be" when they dated.
"Only time will tell but like the saying always goes, once a cheater, always a cheater," she said, without explaining further.
Though Benberry did not elaborate on the reason for her infidelity claims during the interview, she previously seemed to accuse the 33-year-old footballer of cheating on her with his next girlfriend, Kayla Nicole.
The life coach met Kelce in 2016 after winning his E! reality dating show titled Catching Kelce. The pair then went on to date for months, before the athlete debuted his relationship with sports broadcast journalist Kayla Nicole in 2017.
According to Page Six, at the time, Benberry took to X to share a now-deleted post that read: "When you and your ex broke up five months ago but you find out via social media that he’s supposedly been in another relationship for 6…"
While the two-time Super Bowl champion - who dated Kayla on and off from 2017 to 2022 - never publicly addressed Benberry’s allegations, he did deny being unfaithful to the sports broadcaster after a brief split in 2020.
"This is fake news… a lie… and not why Kayla and I broke up… take all your hatred somewhere else please," he insisted at the time, per the outlet.
In addition to this, an insider told the publication exclusively that Kelce and Benberry "weren’t even together long enough for him to cheat on her," adding: "They dated literally less than three months, and they were contractually obligated to not announce their breakup."
Nevertheless, Kelce has kept his love life firmly behind closed doors, but that changed recently when he confessed on The Pat McAfee Show that he attempted to shoot his shot with the 'Lover' hitmaker backstage at her Eras tour.
His efforts clearly got Swift's attention as the 12-time Grammy award winner was pictured watching a Kansas City Chiefs game in a red and white-colored ensemble to show her support for the recent Super Bowl champions. She also appeared to be having a blast with Kelce's mother, Donna, as they shouted and cheered on the team and athletes.
After the match, the pair were even spotted on driving away in his car before arriving at his team's afterparty.
