Travis Kelce has spoken out about the coverage that NFL is giving Taylor Swift at games, saying that they are "overdoing it a little bit".

Everywhere you turn for the past two weeks there has been wall-to-wall coverage of Taylor and Travis' rumored romance, and even football fans have struggled to escape.

The pair aren't officially in a relationship that we know of, but that hasn't stopped them from stealing the headlines as Taylor has been seen at Kansas City Chiefs games cheering on her rumored flame.

The NFL has capitalized on the global superstar attending the games as the camera continuously cuts to her - 17 times in one game per some reports - and they even changed their X (formerly Twitter) header image to a picture of the singer.

It seems that even Travis himself is getting a bit annoyed by the attention that Taylor is receiving, as he has spoken out on his podcast with his brother Jason Kelce about the coverage.

"I think it's fun when they show who all is at the game," Travis said. "I think it brings a little bit more to the atmosphere, brings a little bit more to what you're watching."

Travis went on: "But at the same time, I think they're overdoing it a little bit for sure. Especially my situation."

The NFL star, often regarded as the best tight end in the sport, admitted that he knows that the NFL is just having a bit of fun with it, but it's clear that he thinks it's time to dial it back.

This might be a blessing to the ears of football fans across the country, as they were also getting a bit annoyed by the amount of times that Taylor was appearing on their screens.

Well-known right-wing commentator Tomi Lahren weighed in, stating: "The wall-to-wall coverage of Taylor Swift at this game is annoying AF. I don’t even like football, and I agree it’s destroying football. Just enough."

Another fan speculated: "The advertisers want more young women watching football. I'm sure the network loves it. Probably a gazillion first-time football Swifties watching."

A third individual added: "She is just a singer like any other with so much drama and toxic relationships. What’s all this hype about? There are tens of those celebrities watch football every Sunday! Grow up, people!"

Nevertheless, for those intrigued by Taylor's presence at the game, she didn't attend alone. Her star-studded entourage included the likes of Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner, Ryan Reynolds, and Blake Lively.

Furthermore, she shared a warm moment with Travis Kelce's mother during the game, suggesting her welcome into his inner circle.

Considering that the NFL is mainly popular in the US, Taylor's influence will undoubtedly encourage more spectators from across the globe.
