If you thought that once Kylie Jenner's baby entered the world, the surrounding media maelstrom would die down, you were sorely mistaken. Stormi Webster is less than a month old, and she's already more famous than we will ever be. The people of the internet are obsessed with her perfectly manicured nails, and then there's the fact that she's set to be a millionaire before her first birthday.
But while I'm sure that you guys are having a lark making nail art inspired by the newborn, I'm more perturbed that the Kardashian-Jenner family have been naming their youngest members after a weather forecast.
However, it appears that baby daddy Travis Scott is all for protecting his daughter's privacy. The Butterfly Effect singer has purportedly begged Kylie to keep Stormi off her family's reality television show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
While the beauty mogul achieved the impossible by keeping her pregnancy secret for the entire nine months, now that Stormi is here it would make sense for the 20-year-old to Keep Up with the rest of her family and capitalise off her daughter - via product promotions and tabloid exposure.
But not if Travis Scott has it his way. A source close to the 25-year-old told Hollywood Life that Travis is hoping to shield his daughter from the spotlight as much as possible, and that includes his girlfriend's viral lifestyle.
"Travis is happy that Stormi has so many advantages out of the gate being the daughter of two high-profile parents, but his wish is that she has as much of a normal life as possible in the celebrity bubble she is in," the source revealed.
"That is why he would love for Stormi never to be on TV but he knows that the likelihood of that happening is pretty much impossible."
The rapper's love of privacy is not expected to go down well with 20-year-old Kylie, who began appearing on her family's reality television show when she was just 10 years old. "Its something that is not causing friction with Kylie yet, but it's definitely been conversed about on many occasions because they both have different ideas of how they want to parent," the source added.
"So time will tell if it reaches a boiling point. But as of right now Travis would love nothing more than to never see Stormi on camera anytime soon. He wants her to be a kid."
Travis Scott is not the only Kardashian beau that has had an issue with the family's love of publicity and social media exposure. Kanye West, who has been married to veritable ringleader, Kim Kardashian, since 2014, has been outspoken about his desire to shelter his children from the public eye.
Following the birth of his first daughter North West in 2013, Kanye reportedly asserted that he did not want his children appearing on the hit E! television show.
The Yeezus singer now has three children with Kim – four-year-old North, 2-year-old Saint, and most recently, Chicago, who was born via surrogate in January.
Well, good luck to you Travis!
