Victoria Beckham's tweet about Brooklyn's wife Nicola resurfaces following claim over 'inappropriate wedding act'
A tweet from Victoria Beckham celebrating Nicola Peltz’s birthday has resurfaced online after Brooklyn Beckham made a string of explosive claims about his family and his marriage. Brooklyn, 26, stunned social media on 19 January with posts accusing his parents of trying to damage his relationship with his wife and saying his family had controlled his life.
His long statement came after Brooklyn and Nicola have spent more than a year away from public Beckham family moments and have reportedly unfollowed relatives on social media. They have also removed family photos from their own accounts, and Brooklyn is said to have sent a legal notice to his parents insisting future contact go through his lawyer.
Brooklyn claimed that his mother had even “cancelled” designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute and danced inappropriately during their first dance at the wedding. Those comments have led fans and media outlets to dig up past posts from Victoria about her daughter in law.
What Victoria posted about Nicola before the feud
In January 2024, Victoria Beckham shared a message for Nicola’s birthday that has now regained attention. She wrote exactly “Happy birthday @nicolaannepeltz… We love you so much!! Your love, kindness, talent and your ability to dance on sand in a major wedge!!😂 The best dance partner and loving daughter-in-law. We love you, have an amazing day!!!!! Xxxxxx”.
The post included video clips of Victoria and Nicola dancing together on a beach, appearing relaxed and joyful. There was no obvious sign of tension in the footage, a contrast to the current narrative from Brooklyn about how the couple feel toward Victoria.
How others have reacted to the wedding dress claim
Victoria’s alleged refusal to make Nicola’s wedding gown has also been questioned by the designer of the dress. Leslie Fremar, who created Nicola’s custom Valentino Couture gown, said it was the result of “a year’s worth of conversations” and involved fittings in Rome and the United States.
That has prompted some to question Brooklyn’s claim that Nicola was left scrambling for a dress at the last minute.
While Nicola previously said there was no feud at the time of her wedding, the situation now appears strained. The Beckhams have not publicly responded to Brooklyn’s recent statement.
