Wally Funk appears to have found her flight in Jeff Bezos' New Shepard rocket a little underwhelming.
The 82-year-old traveled into space on the Blue Origin spacecraft along with the world's richest man, his brother Mark, and 18-year-old high school student Oliver Daemen.
However, New York Post reports that the octogenarian aviator was somewhat unimpressed with the eye-wateringly-expensive experience in a later post-landing press conference.
Take a look at this video of the press conference right here:When speaking to reporters after parachuting down to the West Texas landing site, Funk said: "We went right on up and I saw darkness. I thought I was going to see the world, but we weren't quite high enough."
She continued that she wanted to spend more time in zero-gravity, so she could do "a lot more rolls and twists and so forth. But there was not quite enough room for all four of us to do all those things "
Funk ultimately concluded: "I loved every minute of it. I just wish it had been longer."
Watch the New Shepard crew enjoy weightlessness in the video below:Funk was one of the so-called Mercury 13, a group of women who received privately funded astronaut training in the 1960s, but who were ultimately prevented from ever doing into space.
She made aviation history by becoming the first female US military flight instructor and the first female air safety investigator for the National Transport Safety Board.
The elderly Funk broke records on Tuesday by officially becoming the oldest person to ever venture into space. However, she isn't done with it yet.
The Verge reports that Funk has already booked a ticket on Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic spacecraft, the so-called SpaceShipTwo.

On the other hand, New York Post reports that Daemen claimed to have enjoyed the experience much more, stating in the same conference: "Everyone on the ground was way more emotional than we were. We were just having fun."
When asked as though he felt he had got his money's worth for the trip of a lifetime, he replied: "For sure. For sure."
