The 40-year-old actress was snapped kissing her co-star Jonathan Bailey, not once, but twice, at the New York and London premieres of Jurassic World: Rebirth.

The flirty red carpet moment quickly went viral on social media, with fans immediately wondering how Johansson’s partner, Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost, felt about it.

Then Bailey, 37, took things up a notch by posting a cheeky photo on Instagram of himself mock-biting the Marvel actress' neck in full “Twilight vampire” style.

But if anyone thought Jost would be bothered, then they were wrong, as the 43-year-old told Entertainment Tonight: “There’s been a lot of Jurassic press things where you think ‘I didn’t expect this to be a story.' But there’s a lot of stories coming out of it. I guess, in Jurassic Park terms, the attack always comes from the raptor you never thought."

The comedian didn't stop there as he quipped: “Of all the threats out there, I wasn’t thinking it was Jonathan. People really blow it out of proportion, when someone kisses their friend hello, it’s pretty nuts."

Noting that the Bridgerton star is “an out gay man,” he added with a grin: “Jonathan and I were like, ‘I guess we have to kiss now, to close the loop.’”

The Black Widow star also addressed the viral moment, brushing it off: “He’s a lovable guy, what can I say? I don’t know. We’re just friendly people," per E! News.

Bailey echoed that sentiment, telling PEOPLE: “Life’s too short. I believe in being able to show love in all different ways. And if you can’t kiss your friends… life’s too short not to.”

Bailey has also spoken about the significance of leading a major franchise film.

“There’s moments where, yes, you have to be excellent to prove that you can do it. And it’s not like I haven’t felt that. There’s the weight of history,” Bailey told The Hollywood Reporter. "And there’s endless brilliant people who have come before you who have changed the way that people see sexuality."

"Any sort of sense of prejudice against sexuality is something to fight against, and what better way to do that than to go and play any kind of character," he continued. “Being an out gay actor, historically, meant that you wouldn't be able to play straight and there weren’t any gay parts to play anyway."

"That’s obviously changed massively," he added.

Jurassic World Rebirth, which hit theaters on July 2, is set five years after the events of 2022's Jurassic World Dominion.

The film follows Zora (Johansson), a covert operations expert on a high-stakes mission to retrieve the genetic material of the world’s three largest dinosaurs.

According to the official synopsis, Zora’s journey to an "isolated equatorial environment" is derailed when she crosses paths with a civilian family stranded after their boat is capsized by marauding aquatic dinosaurs.

The two groups find themselves trapped on an island with a chilling secret that’s been buried for decades.
