Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock nearly came to blows at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, on Saturday (September 13).
Footage shared on Instagram shows Bryan, 29, scaling a barbed wire fence and trying to rush toward Adcock, 26, before being stopped by security.
“Do you wanna fight like a man? Open the gate,” he shouted at Adcock in one clip, slamming his fist against the fence.
“If they open up this f***ing gate, I’ll f***ing kill you,” Bryan yelled in another video. Adcock fired back: “Come on over here and meet me with a world of hell buddy,” before taunting: “I got a show to play, you clown son of a b***h.”
The 'Something in the Orange' singer eventually hopped over the fence, lunging toward his rival, but was instantly grabbed by multiple guards. As he was restrained, Adcock pointed at Bryan and walked away, flanked by security.
The 'Deep End' musician later posted his own footage of the standoff to Instagram, writing: “When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown.” He added another jab: “Eat a Snickers bro.”
Bryan had appeared at the festival as a surprise guest performer earlier that day, while Adcock was scheduled to play a headlining set that night.
The feud between the two country acts has been simmering for months. The drama sparked back in July when a 14-year-old fan voiced disappointment over not meeting Bryan after his MetLife Stadium show.
The 'I Remember Everything' singer defended himself on TikTok, writing: “You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello. I went out and took pictures both night one and night three. I had a third show the next day, and it was late, I needed rest…. GOMD.”
Adcock responded on X: “If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old why do people idolize you? That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/ parents spent a ton of money to see you. He’s got feelings too and a you’re a ‘grown man’ nearly 30. They’re the only reason you are around.”
He doubled down during an August appearance on Rolling Stone’s 'Nashville Now' podcast, saying: “I think that Zach Bryan puts on a big mask in his day-to-day life and sometimes he can’t help but rip it off and show his true colors. I don’t know if Zach Bryan’s really that great of a person.”
The 'A Cigarette' musician has stirred controversy outside the Bryan feud, too - including blasting Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter from the stage in June, declaring: “That sh** ain't country music,” per Variety.
Bryan, for his part, has faced his own share of public drama. He made headlines for his turbulent breakup with podcaster Brianna LaPaglia - also known as Brianna Chickenfry - in 2024, which she later described as “really, really heartbreaking,” cited by Daily Mail.
He also clashed with fellow musician John Moreland, even pulling their collaboration from streaming after Moreland criticized his reported $350 million publishing deal.
