Will Smith may be one of the most renowned and well-respected actors in Hollywood, but there are certain films he's starred in that he isn't too keen on in hindsight.
In fact, during a recent appearance on GQ's Actually Me series, the Men In Black star answered questions that fans posed to him online, one of them regarding what he felt was his best and worst film to date.
The fan asked: "In your opinion, what is the worst and best movie of Will Smith?"
Speaking candidly, the 53-year-old actor answered: "For the best, I think it's a tie between the first 'Men in Black' and 'Pursuit of Happyness.' For different reasons, those are the two almost-perfect movies."
Reflecting back on his least favorite movie, he said: "I don't know - Wild Wild West is a thorn in my side."
He then laughed as he added: "To see myself in chaps - I don't like it."
Wild Wild West was released back in 1999 and was set in the year 1869. It starred Smith and Kevin Kline, who played Secret Service agents working to keep the president safe.
Salma Hayek and Kenneth Branagh also appeared in the film, which received a less-than-positive response from critics.
Smith was originally in talks to portray Neo in The Matrix but decided against the role, later explaining that after meeting with writers and directors Lana Wachowski and Lilly Wachowski, he hadn't fully understood the premise of the movie.
Smith opted instead to star in Wild Wild West and the role in The Matrix ultimately went to Keanu Reeves.
Backing 2019, Smith admitted that he regretted choosing Wild Wild West over The Matrix, and told a reporter at the time that he would love to go back in time to the Wild Wild West set and ask himself, "A******, why didn't you do 'The Matrix?'"
Later that year, he repeated the remarks on his YouTube channel, telling his subscribers that he was by no means proud that he snubbed The Matrix producers in favor of Wild Wild West.
"But Keanu was perfect. Laurence Fishburne was perfect. So I probably would have messed 'The Matrix' up. I would have ruined it, so I did y'all a favor," he said, per TooFab.
