Mia Farrow has weighed in on the discussion surrounding Amber Heard's high-profile defamation court case against Johnny Depp.

Since last month, the famous exes have battling it out in Fairfax County, Virginia, where they have been heading to the courthouse almost daily.

Depp, 58, is suing Heard, 36, for defamation after she penned an op-ed for The Washington Post back in 2018, in which she claimed to be a survivor of domestic violence. He says the piece was an obvious reference to their own relationship. The actor denies ever striking his ex-wife.

Depp is suing Heard for $50 million, with the latter countersuing for $100 million.

While many have apparently sided with Depp amid the ongoing trial - including women's abuse organization Mission NGO - others have been vocal about their support for the Aquaman star.

One such supporter is apparently Rosemary's Baby actress, Farrow, who called out women on the internet who she believes are dragging Heard down in droves.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, the 77-year-old actress wrote in a since-deleted tweet: "So many women are picking on Amber Heard. Why?"

Fellow actress Rosanna Arquette agreed with Farrow, responding to the tweet: "It’s so disturbing."

However, perhaps as expected, others who responded to Farrow's tweet were less positive about Heard, who has fared pretty badly where public opinion is concerned.

One commenter suggested: "Maybe because there's tapes in her own voice admitting to attacking Johnny and saying she could not say it wouldn't happen again. I like and respect you Rosanna and Mia. But I can't believe you would disregard that. There are woman who make things up out of revenge for being..."

Another added: "What is disturbing is that so many people are willing to believe her just because she is a woman. It doesn’t matter how many photos or witnesses contradict her version of events. She made accusations against a man and he was immediately guilty!"

A third stated: "Are you both ok? Have you watched the trial? Her story changes constantly. Her friends testifying all have different stories of what happened. None of her story makes sense."
