Nikocado Avocado has shocked the internet after he showed his incredible weight loss, but he's left some fans confused.

Avocado, whose real name is Nicholas Perry, surprised viewers with a September 6 video titled Two Steps Ahead, unveiling what he described as a "social experiment."

Perry initially rose to fame through his mukbang videos, where he consumed large quantities of food, eventually earning himself the title "King of Mukbangs."

His rapid weight gain became a significant part of his online persona, making his recent weight loss all the more shocking.

While his transformation has been a topic of conversation, Perry remains an influential figure across several platforms.

His YouTube channel, @NikocadoAvocado, boasts over 3.9 million subscribers.

On TikTok, he has amassed 3.3 million followers under the handle @realnikocadoavocado.

His influence extends to other social media platforms as well, with 88,000 followers on Facebook and 44,000 on Instagram.

In the recent viral video, Perry, who had not filmed new content for two years, appeared significantly slimmer than his recent uploads, which showed him with a much heavier physique as recently as two weeks ago.

Perry opened the video by explaining the nature of his weight loss and how it ties into a broader narrative he’s been orchestrating.

"I am always two steps ahead," he said. "This has been the greatest social experiment of my entire life."

He continued, describing the online culture around him: "It’s worrying, it’s compelling, it’s gripping to observe all these unwell, disorientated beings roam the internet in search of stories, ideas, rivalries where they feel encouraged, engaged."

Perry went on to explain that his villainous online persona was part of the plan.

"So I am the villain because I’ve made myself one, and you will continue to consume these stories about me — year after year after year."

The YouTuber then claimed that he had "woken up from a very long dream" after losing an astonishing 250 pounds.

"Yesterday people were calling me fat and sick and boring and irrelevant," he added. "People are the most messed up creatures on the entire planet, and yet I’ve still managed to stay two steps ahead of everyone. The joke’s on you."

The video, which has already garnered over 4.7 million views, left fans floored.

One fan wrote: "The fact he was able to keep this entirely private, with no one in the world telling his secret, while actively creating rumors of heart attacks and failed weight loss is so complex I can’t even wrap my head around it."

A second added: "The internet was not ready for this," while a third said: "Unironically this is probably one of if not THE biggest plot twist in the history of YouTube."
