Denise Richards has claimed her ex-husband Charlie Sheen has changed his mind after opposing their daughter's OnlyFans career once he saw how much money she was making.

The former couple share a 19-year-old daughter, Sami Sheen, who has been making a name for herself on the subscription site usually used to share adult content.

Charlie, 58, had initially been opposed to his teen daughter making a living on the site and had voiced his disapproval publicly.

While he was staunchly against it at the start, Denise, 52, claims he has now come around to the idea thanks to the fact Sami is making a killing on the platform.

Speaking to Bethenny Frankel on the Just B podcast, Denise revealed what it was that helped to change the protective dad's mind.

"He changed his tune when she bought a Mercedes and moved into a house," the former Playboy model explained.

Well, that'll do it!

She confirmed: "When she first did OnlyFans, he was not happy," adding that Sami "did not appreciate" how publicly the Two and a Half Men star had opposed her career move.

Charlie told Page Six in June last year: "She is 18 years old now and living with her mother. This did not occur under my roof.

"I do not condone this, but since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative, and not sacrifice her integrity."

Denise responded at the time: "Sami is 18, and this decision wasn’t based on whose house she lives in. All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgment, but she makes her own choices."

She added that as a former Playboy model she would not judge her daughter for the choice, adding: "Quite frankly her father shouldn’t be either."

Although Sami describes herself as a sex worker, she has reportedly never posted full nudity on her account, which she opened just three months after turning 18.

Charlie admitted to Bustle that he'd initially had a "knee-jerk reaction" to finding out Sami had joined OnlyFans, saying: "I was just like, 'Oh, this can only go bad.'"

However, he revealed he came around to the idea as it would make Sami's experience much easier if her parents both supported her line of work.

"She’s doing this and it can only be a much more successful and pleasant experience with the support of myself, her mom, and others," he explained.

"I have to have confidence and just know in my heart that all of her virtues and all the wonderfulness that makes her, her, come with her. I believe her to be incorruptible."

Sami also told the publication that as well as the financial benefits, joining OnlyFans had also served to boost her self-esteem, adding: "I’ve never felt more confident in my body."

Sharing a snap of herself posing in a black bikini, the teen wrote: "click the link in my bio if u wanna see more" - as users were directed to a link to her page.

Following the announcement, 56-year-old dad Charlie told E! that he is not best pleased about his daughter being on the subscription platform.

"I do not condone this," he said to the outlet in a statement, adding: "But since I'm unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative, and not sacrifice her integrity."

The Two and a Half Men star went on to imply that letting Sami join OnlyFans was a decision supported by the teen's mother and made independent of his judgment.

"She is 18 years old now and living with her mother," he said, adding: "This did not occur under my roof."

Now, the teen's mother has spoken out.

Releasing a written statement on Instagram, 51-year-old Richards wrote: "Lots of negative comments on my social this past week."

The former Bond girl continued: "I have to say, I wish I had the confidence my 18 yr old daughter has. And I also can't be judgmental of her choices. I did Wild Things and Playboy, quite frankly her father shouldn't be either."

"And to be able to ignore the negativity at her age? It took me many years and I still sometimes struggle," the mom added. "I'm in awe of her ability to be able to shut out the noise. Because it can destroy you."

The actor then pointed out that other social media platforms are used by people in the adult industry, before adding: "Is it so bad to control it and monetize it too? I'm sorry, but s*** if I can get paid and at my age? To see me in a bikini?!? God bless you. Perhaps I should open my own account."

Sami has not directly addressed her father's comments, but she did do a Q+A on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, in which she shared that she will be focusing on body positivity while posting on OnlyFans.

She responded to a question from a follower, who asked: "Do you really think you have the body for [OnlyFans] lol?"

Sami answered: "Yes because there's no 'body' you need to have in order to do [OnlyFans]. Only thing that matters is making sure you're comfortable with what your posting and remembering that all bodies are beautiful."

Another follower asked the teen if her mom and dad know about her OnlyFans account, and she responded: "Yes, and my mom is extremely supportive."

But following a statement from mom Denise Richards, the Two and a Half Men star has done a U-turn.

In a statement to Us Weekly via his publicist, Sheen said: "Denise has illuminated a variety of salient points, that in my haste, I overlooked and dismissed."

"Now more than ever, it's essential that Sami have a united parental front to rely upon, as she embarks on this new adventure. From this moment forward, she'll have it abundantly," the doting dad added.

The Platoon star's comments come after Richards said she was in no position - and neither is dad Charlie - to judge her daughter's choices, saying: "I did Wild Things and Playboy".

While many of Sami's followers supported her new business endeavor, her father told E! that he is not so pleased about her being on the subscription platform.

Denise Richards has divided opinions online after teasing an OnlyFans collaboration with her 19-year-old daughter, Sami Sheen.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to the adult entertainment website to tell her subscribers, who pay $25 a month to see exclusive content, that there could potentially be an upcoming family feature on her account.

As per a screenshot that was posted to Reddit, the 52-year-old posted a snap that showed the mom-daughter duo posing with each other for a picture. Both women had a similar sultry makeup look while they stared into the camera.

"Should my mini me @samisheen and I do another collaboration soon?", she wrote in the caption with a yellow heart.

Naturally, fans seemed grossed out by the prospect of a mom and her teenage daughter filming NSFW content and uploading it to the internet - I mean who wouldn't be?

Hundreds of social media users took to the thread to express their opinions on the teaser.

"Denise is really turning OnlyFans into an OnlyFams," wrote one user.

"This is f****** WEIRD beyond words and one of the sickest s*** I’ve seen on this app. What does she even mean... What do her and her dorter [sic] do on that app..." added another.

A third was also less than impressed writing: "Creepy creepy creepy. In no world is this appropriate."

And another user also raised a good point saying the operative word here is "another" because... Yikes.

As we now know, this isn't Richards' first collab with her daughter as the pair released a photoshoot on the adult website back in 2022.

"We’re gonna do a really cool shoot together," the actress told Us Weekly in July of that year. "It’s gonna be something that’s gonna be really editorial and beautiful. I’m excited... I’ve shot with both my daughters for different magazines, and it’s been a long time, so it’s gonna be fun to be able to do a shoot with [Sami] now that she’s a little bit older."

Elsewhere in the interview, the 52-year-old also said that she supports her daughter no matter what controversial decisions she chooses to make as she starts out in her career.

"My parents were always supportive of my career and they didn’t judge me for decisions I made when I was working and starting out as an actress," she told the outlet. "I think it’s important — no matter what my daughters do — to support them, no matter what. I want them to feel empowered and [to be] empowering them... and that’s something that I think is really important and something that I will always support."

Speaking of her OnlyFans career, the 19-year-old also took to TikTok to explain that she's a "different" type of "sex worker."

"I am not a [porn] star, and I don’t meet up with people. I don’t film myself having sex. I don’t do that," she explained in the clip. "The only reason I said I’m a [sex] worker is because my main source of income is from my [OnlyFans]. And if people did their f****** research, they would realize that there’s multiple forms of [sex] work."
