It's been five years since Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington tragically passed away.

However, his wife Talinda Bennington is keeping his memory alive.

To commemorate the five-year anniversary of her husband's passing on Wednesday (July 20), Talinda took to TikTok to share a heartbreaking tribute to him.

In the clip, the mom-of-three can be seen sitting outdoors and reminiscing about her final moments with Chester.

"Just sitting here thinking that I can't believe it's been 5 years since I last saw you and kissed your sweet face goodbye," she wrote in text displayed on the video, while she gazed out at a field pensively.

In the video's caption, she gave followers some more insight into her grief, writing: "5 years. I didn't think I could breathe this long without you. R.I.P. my love #grief #widow #suicideawarness."

Bennington passed away when he was 41 on July 20, 2017. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging.

Following the loss of her beloved husband, Talinda founded a nonprofit organization 320 Changes Direction to try to tackle mental illness. On the charity's website, she explains that it was "born out of my personal experience and the recognition that we can do better to address the needs of those who are suffering with mental health concerns and addiction."

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Talinda - who shares three children with her late husband - has taken to social media to pay tribute to his memory.

Earlier this year, on what would have been her husband's 46th birthday, Talinda shared a sweet photo on Instagram of him holding a birthday present and a heartfelt message in his honor.

"Happy Birthday my love! We miss you so much," she wrote.

"The pain doesn't get any easier but you get used to it is what they say. I'm not sure I believe that at all. There's no getting used to this type of grief," the 45-year-old continued.

"I'm doing my best to raise our babies the way we always talked about. You were my other half and it is so hard walking without you. I love you and we are celebrating you today."
