Chris Noth has been dropped by his talent agency after three women came forward with sexual assault claims against the actor.
A representative for A3 Artists Agency confirmed to that it parted ways with the Sex and the City star. "I can confirm that Chris Noth is no longer a client," the representative told Insider.
In a report published by The Daily Beast on Friday, December 17, a woman who wished to remain anonymous but used the pseudonym, Ava, told the outlet that the actor, 67, had sexually assaulted her while working at a New York City restaurant in 2010. According to the outlet, she was 18 years old at the time.
The actor denied the woman's account, calling it a "piece of bad fiction".
"The story is a complete fabrication, and the alleged accounts detailed throughout read like a piece of bad fiction," a rep for Noth told People. "As Chris stated yesterday, he has and would never cross that line."
Last week, an article published by The Hollywood Reporter saw two women accuse the actor of sexual assault.
The article describes the accusations by two women, who chose to be identified by pseudonyms, that Noth sexually assaulted them in separate incidents - one in 2004 and another in 2015.
In a statement to the publication, the actor denied he assaulted the women.
"The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross," Noth said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
"The encounters were consensual. It's difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don't know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women."
After news of the allegations came to light, Peloton pulled the plug on its new ad starring the actor.
In a statement to NBC News, Peloton said it was "not aware" of the allegations against Noth when it first released the ad.
"Every single sexual assault accusation must be taken seriously," a spokesperson for Peloton said in a statement. "We were unaware of these allegations when we featured Chris Noth in our response to HBO's reboot. As we seek to learn more, we have stopped promoting this video and archived related social posts."
The exercise equipment company created the commercial promoting the Peloton bike following the pilot episode of And Just Like That, the Sex and the City reboot.
