Christina Applegate made a memorable appearance at the 28th Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday night.
On January 15, the 51-year-old actress attended her first awards ceremony since her multiple sclerosis diagnosis back in August 2021 with her 11-year-old daughter Sadie.
The Netflix star sported an all-black tailored ensemble comprising of a blazer and flared trousers. She then accessorized the look with a belt tied around her waist and a pair of Dr. Martens boots along with a manicure that was a tribute to her Dead To Me character.
For the special occasion, Applegate was nominated in the best actress in a comedy series category for her performance in the Netflix show but lost out to Jean Smart from HBO’s Hacks.

Prior to attending the show, the Anchorman star confirmed on social media that she'd be in attendance and admitted that she was feeling "nervous".
"So this Sunday will be the first awards show I have been to since 2019. And the first since MS. NERVOUS! But grateful to the @CriticsChoice for including me," she wrote on Twitter.
While Applegate skipped out on the red carpet, she posed for pictures with Julia Roberts and even blew a kiss at the camera during the event.
She and her daughter - whom she shares with Dutch bassist Martyn LeNoble - also took some photos backstage, looking stylish with their matching all-black look.
While Applegate was filming Dead to Me's last season 16 months ago, she received her MS diagnosis - which is a lifelong condition that damages nerves in the body and makes it difficult for people to walk, talk, and eat, per Mayo Clinic.
When she began undergoing treatment for the illness - which currently has no cure but can be managed by several treatments for the symptoms - the series was halted for five months, which was also ultimately prolonged by the Covid pandemic.
The actress then pushed for filming to resume and the production crew got underway to see it all the way to the end for its third and final season.
During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show last December, the Married With Children star opened up about her reaction to being given the diagnosis and said that it "sucked b***s".
Describing her time filming on the show, Applegate admitted: "Shooting the show was the hardest thing I’d ever done in my life because I was diagnosed during shooting and I didn’t know what was happening.
"I couldn't walk; they had to use a wheelchair to get me to set. I was freaking out until someone was like, 'You need an MRI,'" she continued. "I found out on a Monday after work that I had MS, a disease that I’m going to have for the rest of my life."
