And while a lot of fans will happily be making their way through Stephen King movie after Stephen King movie this spooky season, one lucky fan will receive the fairly sizable sum of $1,300 for their time.
However, there's a catch - you have to be a US citizen or a permanent resident.
But if this applies to you, and you're over 18 (obviously), then simply apply at USDish.com explaining why you're the person to watch 13 Stephen King adaptations this fall.
The website has selected the following 13 movies for the lucky viewer: Carrie, Children of the Corn, Christine, Cujo, Dreamcatcher, It, The Mist, Pet Sematery, Salem's Lot, The Shinning, Thinner and Misery.
In return for the payment, the website wants to know "everything" the viewer experiences during the spooky binge-watch: "You will track your heart rate and jump scares. You’ll let us know who joined in on the scares with you.
"You'll let us know what you thought before watching certain movies, and if your feelings changed after you completed them.
"You'll even log your sleep - if you can sleep. We want to know all this and more! We'll provide a worksheet to help guide you along the way, but you're not limited to what we give you - feel free to share your thoughts, like a journal, and give us all the frightening deets!"
So, if you're brave enough to take on the binge, it's time to fill out the application form!
