As far a commitment goes, there's not much that tops getting a tattoo of your partner's face on your actual face - and Dennis Rodman has done just that.
Tattoos of a partner's name can be a risky business leading to expensive and painful lasering or cover-ups should the relationship go pear-shaped down the line.
The next step up from a name tattoo is getting their likeness inked on your skin - and several levels above that is having your declaration of love etched onto your face for the rest of your life.
The 62-year-old retired NBA athlete chose to go all out for his girlfriend, Yella Yella, as he proudly revealed his new ink.
Dennis took to his YouTube channel to share the first glimpse of the new ink, which was done by tattoo artist Van Johnson, star of the reality series Black Ink Crew Chicago.
As the camera panned over to Yella Yella, she is seen saying: "Oh my god, that is really me!"
Van shared his work on his own platform, writing: "So I ain’t do too much today, cooled out at my townhome tattooed a living legend's face of his woman on his face, that’s about it…. What y’all do?"
And while the ink is a touching tribute to his love for Yella Yella, she revealed that she actually tried to talk him out of having it done.
She told TMZ Sports that she thought Dennis was "crazy" for wanting the face tattoo, adding: "I actually told him not to do it. I'm like, 'What're you doing!'"
Dennis added: "This is my last dance with a woman. She's very lovely, and I thank her for loving me the way I am - and that's why I did it for her."
Yella Yella also revealed that Dennis had initially wanted the portrait - which takes up his entire cheek - to be even bigger than what it ended up being.
And it must be true love if Dennis - whose nickname was "The Worm" - is certain that Yella Yella will be the last woman in his life.
He previously opened up about his personal life with women, admitting in his autobiography I Should Be Dead By Now that in his prime he had so many women on the go that sex became more like a "job".
Dennis explained: "At that point in my life, I was having sex with a lot of different women. So many that, sometimes, it became a job."
He also previously admitted that during one encounter he ended up with a very painful injury, telling Vice TV: "It was in Dallas. My girlfriend at the time and I did everything. I ran and jumped on her and all of a sudden… Oh, blood everywhere. A white girl with blood everywhere.
"She yelled, 'Oh my God, he's dead, he's dead! I've killed him!' I said, 'No, honey, I just broke my penis.'"
Well, compared to that, a face tattoo sounds like a walk in the park...
