Disney is magical. Between the classic characters, festive food, and children who are still in awe of it all, it's hard to have a bad time at their theme parks. And now, one Disney location is upping their game with this special Halloween party.
This fall, gear up for the Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure Park. From September 17 to October 31, experience all kinds of festive changes throughout the space.

This five-hour bash - which requires separate park admission from anywhere between $110 and $145 per person - will start on certain days in September with themed food and merchandise.
So, if you want to cop a pair of The Nightmare Before Christmas Mickey ears or feast on a Haunted Mansion cake, now's your time.

These special days will have enough The Nightmare Before Christmas references to satisfy the most die-hard fans. But don't worry if you scare easily, as the bash is an all-ages event. Typically, Disney parks host Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party so that kids can still have fun during the holiday.

While the Oogie Boogie Bash will offer more options for teenagers and young adults than before, everything that was in place for kids will not disappear, like costumes, fog, and lots and lots of candy.

On top of all that, you have the option to to see shows and plays, meet your favourite characters, watch a parade, and enjoy festive decorations throughout the park. Plus, BYOBag and participate in the treat trails (even adults can collect this candy throughout the day).

Several attractions will be re-themed and others will have special music or sounds to celebrate the holiday. The description on Disney's website reads:
"Don your favorite costume to an all new family-friendly Disney Halloween party where Oogie Boogie, from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, has summoned the Disney Villains to Disney California Adventure Park for an unforgettable night of fun and fright - part of Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort."

"See Villainous! a new World of Color show (exclusive to this event), experience the wickedly transformed Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, walk along immersive treat trails featuring Disney Villains and join a pulsing dance party with the greatest dance crew from the Isle of the Lost—based on Disney’s Descendants movies."
This is Halloween, indeed.
