Doja Cat's recent look at Paris Fashion Week left us all speechless after the singer turned up in a burning red ensemble covered with small bumps.

Italian fashion designer Schiaparelli kicked off the 2023's upcoming season's couture shows with an exhibition inspired by Dante Alighieri's 'Inferno'.

Shalom Harlow, Irina Shayk, and Naomi Campbell showed us what the designer had to offer, strutting down the catwalk with animal heads made from foam - yet another bold choice as expected of a designer known for her eccentric fashion choices.

However, while the looks on the grand stage were considered a visual spectacle, some famous faces in the audience, including Kylie Jenner, also managed to grab the attention.

But who was the main attraction at the event? Doja Cat, of course.

The 'Been Like This' singer collaborated with iconic beauty veteran Pat McGrath to create a stunning Swarovski-encrusted 'fit, especially for the occasion.

Speaking to Vogue of the inspiration behind the look, the 57-year-old make-up artist said that all of her creations for the show embodied Schiaparelli’s "beguiling blend of femininity and masculinity."

"The result is a mesmerizing canvas of radiant, multi-dimensional, and luminous beauties," she said. "Evocative of sublime sculptures; a true feast for the eyes."

However, while most of the models opted for a sultry bronze face, Doja Cat took it one step further.

McGrath and her team worked tirelessly to cover the 27-year-old in 30,000 glittering Swarovski crystals for a "shimmering, scintillating, and subversive look" in bright red.

"Collaborating with the incomparably talented Doja Cat and Daniel Roseberry was an absolute pleasure," McGrath told the outlet. "Her patience and dedication as she sat with Team Pat McGrath and I for four hours and 58 minutes to achieve the creation, covered in over 30,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals, was truly inspiring."

Despite the time and effort put into this unique piece, it seems as though some people have been left triggered online.

Posting to Twitter, fans expressed their horror at the burning red ensemble, with many pointing out that it set off their trypophobia because of the the many tiny bumps.

"Love her but this picture just triggered my trypophobia," wrote one user while another added: "Lord help my trypophobia she looks fabulous."

A third added that the look was "sickening."

"Hmmm I need time to decide whether she ate or not," another Twitter user said.

But it's safe to say not everyone was turned off.

Others took the opportunity to shut down the haters and express that this is just Doja doing what she does best - serving us looks.

"Doja Cat fully committed to her Schiaparelli look, she looks like a piece of art!", said one social media user.

"I need to know how long it took Doja Cat to get ready for the Schiaparelli show because this is crazy good," added another.

Taking to Instagram after the show, McGrath posted a montage of the singer at the show alongside a caption where she described the final look as "a magical, mesmerizing masterpiece and a tribute to Doja Cat’s hard work and dedication."

We have no choice but to stan!
