A woman left President Donald Trump red-faced on Thursday (October 15) as she complimented him on his "great smile" amid the NBC Town Hall.

Paulette Dale, who is an "undecided voter" per the Daily Mail, shared the kind words with 74-year-old Trump before asking him a question about immigration policy.

Check out the moment Donald Trump blushes as a Republican tells him he's "handsome when he smiles":

Gleefully smiling at the President, Dale began by saying: "Good evening, Mr. President. I have to say you have a great smile."

Trump, seemingly smitten with the comments, thanked the lady and beamed her another bright smile.

The comments also sparked a positive reaction from the people surrounding him, who applauded the compliment at the event, which took place at the Perez Art Museum.

"You're so handsome when you smile," Dale told Trump.

However, during an interview with the Miami New Times following the event, Dale admitted: "I wish he would smile more and talk less."

She then added that the POTUS "steps in it every time he opens his mouth", and concluded by saying: "I think the man has a nice smile. However, I'm not a fan."

Following the unexpected complimented at the Town Hall, Dale went into her own personal story as the granddaughter of immigrants who left Eastern Europe to escape religious persecution.

She said:

"As the daughter of immigrants to the United States who fled Eastern Europe due to religious persecution, the United States' immigration policies are very personal for me.

"Surveys show that most Americans and the majority of Republicans support the Dreamers program.

"So my question for you, Mr. President, is: If you are elected to a second term, do you expect to pursue your previous efforts to cut the DACA program?"

President Trump's responded to Dale's question, saying: "We are working very hard on the DACA program and you will be, I think, very happy over the course of the next year, because I feel the same way that you do about it."

The response to Dale's initial compliment to Trump also sparked an interesting discussion on Twitter.

In fact, some refused to believe she was a "real person", with one suggesting: she was "planted and paid."

Another responded with the "throwing up" emoji, writing: "I've never used this emoji before."

A third user was delighted by the interaction, writing: "This was amazing. It made him human I loved it."
