Drew Barrymore has recently opened up about her personal life - and it seems as though her once adventurous bedroom antics have now become "boring".
While discussing Netflix's How To Build A Sex Room on an episode of her podcast Drew's News, the self-confessed "dirty bird" admitted that she's tried a lot of things in the bedroom.
She and her co-host, Ross Matthews, then delved deeper into how these sexual escapades have come to affect her views on intimacy now.
"I’m a dirty bird," Barrymore told Matthews on Friday (November 18). "But just in the corners of my mind where I never will tell and it’s just for me."
Check out the clip below:She continued: "I can understand some sort of kinky things. Listen, I’ve tried everything. That’s why I’m so boring now."
The 47-year-old actress then clarified that she wasn't sure if she was into everything, but she "just wanted to try" them out.
But regardless of how "boring" things are for her now, she's satisfied with her sex life.
"Those days are long gone,” she said. "But back when I was younger, I had all the energy in the world. But now, no."
This isn't the first time Barrymore has laid it all out on the table.
In a blogpost published last month, the Charlie's Angels star revealed that she had not been in an "intimate relationship" since her divorce from Will Kopelman in 2016. The pair were together for 4 years before ultimately calling it quits.
"I am just in a completely different place in my life and maybe in the near future I will get into a relationship… but it simply hasn’t been my priority," she wrote. "So I’m not a person who needs sex and has to go out there and engage with people on that level.
"I am someone who is deeply committed to fostering how young girls, my daughters, and myself as a woman, are supposed to function in this world!"
She also explained that having boundaries led to her gaining a tremendous amount of self-respect and altered her views on how sex should be defined before playfully adding that she's still a "naughty monkey who is rebellious and weird and comedic and wacky and doesn’t judge others."
She just keeps it real and that's just one of the many reasons she has always - and will always - be an icon.
