Elon Musk's mom has asked if everyone could stop being mean to her son, so considered yourself warned.
The world's richest man, 51, has never been far from the headlines recently - especially since his $44 billion takeover of Twitter.
The spotlight being on you can often bring bad press... especially when you publicly fire one of your employees who has been at the company for the best part of a decade.
The negative comments about him could also be due to the self-proclaimed Chief Twit laying off thousands of employees, including allegedly showing the door to the entire human rights team.
Or perhaps it has something to do with the fact that some people believe that Musk personally decided to reinstate an account belonging to Kanye West, who was previously banned for hateful comments. (Musk denies the claim that he allowed the rapper back onto the platform.)
Regardless of the reasons for the comments about him, his mother - 74-year-old Maye Musk - has told everyone to stop being mean to her son.
During the third episode of BBC's The Elon Musk Show, the Twitter boss's mom insists that her billionaire son does not have it easy.
She explains that her "genius" son is doing a lot to help save the planet, yet still gets a hard time from people on the internet.
"I'm happy to say that Space X and Tesla are in the hands of my brilliant son - well, genius son," Maye explains.
"We admire him for that, we don't want to be him. Because with those companies, he gets a lot of hate. Stop being mean to him!"
Elon Musk recently spoke at a business summit in Bali, where he revealed that nobody actually needs to be mean to him because he does it to himself anyway.
He said: "I'd be careful what you wish for. I'm not sure how many people would actually like to be me. They would like to be what they imagine being me, which is not the same thing as actually being me. The amount that I torture myself is next level, frankly."
He went on to explain that he has been working seven days a week from sunup to sundown. "I have too much work on my plate that is for sure," he added.
It sounds like the billionaire is having a very difficult time and everyone should just be a little nicer to him in the future.
