Emilia Clarke has made the stunning claim that Brad Pitt once big $120,000 to spend an evening with her watching Game Of Thrones.
We all dream of getting to hang out with our favorite celebrities and just pick their brains about the world they live in.
It would be untruthful to claim that we haven't imagined being best friends with some of the highest-profile people in the world, but rarely do these dreams become a reality.
Apparently, other celebrities also dream of being friends with celebrities, as evidenced by Brad Pitt after he offered a whopping amount of money to hang out with Emilia Clarke.
Watch the clip below:Speaking on the Graham Norton Show in the UK, the Game Of Thrones actress told the hilarious story of how the auction came to happen back in 2017.
There was this auction thing that happened," Emilia began. "They called me and were like do you want to auction something off like an experience… like watching the show [Game Of Thrones] with you."
Thinking nothing of it and wanting the help a charity, the actress agreed and it was only when the day came did she understand what she had gotten herself in for.
She turned up at the event in LA, which was hosted by Sean Penn, and she described it as like "the Oscars" with the star-studded attendees.
"I suddenly remember that I’d said I’d auction something off, so the fear grows,” Emilia revealed, as she went on: “I was petrified, absolutely petrified.”
Fearing that nobody would want to time with her, a friend at the same table led the bidding in order to get an evening with the former Khaleesi.
Though it would seem that the friend's good intentions backfired a touch, as they got into a bidding war with an unknown person across the room.
"I was like thanks very much, it’s very sweet and then someone else’s paddle went up on the other side of the room," Emilia went on.
"I didn’t really know and suddenly, it was becoming a bit of money," she continued. "I was thinking this is mental and then someone else said, it’s Brad Pitt and then I went lol. And then I look over to the room and Brad has his paddle up."
The Fight Club actor bid a whopping $120,000 to spend an evening with everyone's favorite mother of dragons, but alas it was to no avail.
The friend at her table won the bidding, and that seemed to be a disappointment to Emilia who looked like she wanted to spend the evening with Brad Pitt.
Who knows, maybe the pair can hang out in their spare time instead of an eye-watering amount of money needing to be spent.
