The 88-year-old exotic dancer who shocked America's Got Talent judges has promised to make her routine even more risqué if she gets through to the next round.
Penny Starr Sr. wowed audiences and judges alike when she appeared on the 17th season of the hit talent show.
Born Janet Gaynor Colby, the mother of two and Burlesque Hall of Famer proudly calls herself "America’s oldest burlesque dancer".
The dancer has passed her love of burlesque down to her granddaughter, Augusta Avallone, aka Penny Starr Jr. At 52, Penny Starr Jr. is also a Burlesque Hall of Famer, and the two are known to take to the stage together.
But Penny Starr Sr. performed alone when she made a grand entrance onto the AGT stage last Tuesday bedecked in red, white, and blue feather boas. "I want to give America a real show, a get-up-and-go show," she declared, before beginning her raunchy routine, in which she shed her boas - and other lacy garments - while dancing to the tune of 'You're a Grand Old Flag'.
Watch the shocking performance here:The flans were bowled over by Penny's performance. Former Victoria's Secret model Heidi Klum cheered, while Modern Family star Sofia Vergara gave the burlesque dancer a standing ovation. "I want to be you when I grow up," she told Penny.
Most impressed of all was Simon Cowell, who even seemed to be flirting with the exotic dancer. He quizzed her on her relationship past and - after finding out she'd been married six times before - asked her if she was looking for a new husband.
Penny responded: "Yes, but it takes a while to break them in!"

Simon then asked the inevitable question that felt sure to determine Penny's future on the talent show: "If you were to go forward, would more clothes come off?"
The burlesque dancer was unfazed by his question and replied "Oh yes, absolutely!" while shaking her tail feathers.

But to fans' dismay, it looks like her performance on the audition stage will be the end of Penny's journey on AGT.
Despite receiving four yeses from judges, NBC announced soon after her audition aired that she had not made this season's top 55 act shortlist.
