Facts of Life fans were in for a big surprise on the latest "Live in Front of a Studio Audience" episode.
The TV special aired on Wednesday night and was hosted by popular presenter Jimmy Kimmel. The show featured an all-star cast re-enacting classic sitcoms The Facts of Life and Diff'rent Strokes.
And there was an extra special surprise for fans when 'Facts' star Lisa Whelchel made a rare TV appearance to introduce the episode.
The 58-year-old actress played wealthy and preppy teen Blair Warner on the original NBC series. She appeared in nine seasons, bidding farewell to the show in 1988.
For the special, Whelchel donned an Eastland School uniform similar to that she wore in the original series and sang the 'Facts' iconic theme song. Her former co-stars, Mindy Cohn and Kim Fields, also swang by the studio.
Meanwhile, Jeniffer Aniston stepped into Whelchel's shoes and played Blair in the special's re-enactment. She was joined by a host of other celebrity performers including Ann Dowd, Kevin Hart, John Lithgow, Jon Stewart, Allison Tolman, and Gabrielle Union, all of whom took on iconic sitcom roles.
There were also guest appearances from Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Snoop Dogg.
But despite the star-studded lineup, it was Whelchel - who radiated youth and barely seemed to have aged a day since 'Facts' was on air - who stole the show.
Many viewers have taken to social media to gush about her seemingly ageless appearance.
"Lisa Whelchel from the “Facts of Life” looks the same as she did 40 years ago," wrote one user in disbelief.
"Lisa done aged pretty Whelchel," another joked.
Meanwhile, others were desperate to know the secret formula Whelchel is using to keep herself so youthful.
"Me trying to figure out Lisa Whelchel’s skincare routine because she hasn’t aged in 40 years," one person tweeted.
"Ain’t no way this woman is almost 60. Drop the skincare routine, Ms. Whelchel," pleaded another.
"Lisa Whelchel looks like she’s been using shea butter, drinking water and minding her business since #factsoflife went off the air," wrote a third.
