Fans left stunned after learning James Corden doesn't drive during Carpool Karaoke

Fans have been left stunned after learning that James Corden doesn't actually drive during Carpool Karaoke.

The shocking but perfectly logical revelation was made on Twitter by user Zoli Honig. It showed a stationary range rover on wheels and explained that 41-year-old Corden was inside filming Carpool Karaoke with Justin Bieber, 25.

Zoli wrote on Twitter: "Saw James Corden and Justin Bieber filming carpool karaoke and this is why I have trust issues - he isn't even driving! Next thing you know they gonna tell us that his friends don't *actually* need a ride."

He then added: "Next thing you know they gonna tell us that his friends don't *actually* need a ride."

One fan simply wrote in all caps: "MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE."

Another remarked: "All along I used to respect James Corden for being able to concentrate on driving and singing at the same time: but now I feel betrayed. So even the Amigos, Mariah Carey, Michelle Obama and the rest was just a lie."

A third wrote: "[I always wondered] how safe it is, how did the police didn't pull them over, I thought they had police cars to guard them in front and back and some unbusy street to do the shoot. I never thought that they pull the car."

This user does have a point. The Late Late Show is incredibly popular. It's highly unlikely that Corden would be allowed to distract himself with singing stars on actual roads.

However, not everyone was surprised by the revelation, with one Twitter user pointing out that it would have been extremely difficult for a British man to drive on American roads and simultaneously sing at the top of his lungs.

"I knew it," the wrote. "It is a tad bit impossible for a Brit to drive on US roads while singing on top of his lungs!"

But back in 2018, the possibility that Corden was actually driving was seemingly solidified when he was pulled over during a Carpool Karaoke with Adam Levine.

However, as the video above demonstrates, the police weren't fussed about the quality of Corden's driving, they were much more interested in hearing Levine sing, which was also a pretty big indication that all was not as it seemed.
