Justin Timberlake's team has responded to his viral concert footage following his recent DWI arrest.

It was previously reported that the star, 43, was arrested and booked on June 18 for allegedly driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons.

Timberlake was said to be dining with friends at Sag Harbor’s American Hotel in Long Island - a celebrity hot spot - before leaving the venue and getting into his vehicle at approximately 12:15AM.

He was pulled over by a young officer who claimed he didn't recognize Timberlake when the singer failed to pause at a stop sign and couldn't maintain his position in one lane.

According to an arrest report obtained by PEOPLE, the officer said that Timberlake "[failed] to keep on the right side of the roadway."

The officer also said in the report that Timberlake's "eyes were bloodshot and glassy" when he was stopped.

"A strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests," the officer continued in his recollection.

In the wake of the scandal, some fans have been talking about a resurfaced clip where the star appeared to have red eyes during one of his concerts back in May, leading some to believe he was intoxicated.

However, Timberlake's reps have confirmed to TMZ that this is "100%" not the case and that he has been "sober for every show."

"Our sources say JT is always focused and clear-headed at all his shows - including all the ones he's performed at while on tour lately - and the one from May is no exception," the outlet reported.

The source also added: "As a performer, you'd have to be sober doing what he does [as] there's simply too much at stake in the performance."

It comes shortly after the 'Cry Me A River' hitmaker took to the stage at Chicago's United Center where he thanked fans for their support despite him being "hard to love [sometimes]."

"This [tour] is just something that keeps watching over me, more so on this tour than any other," the 43-year-old told the crowd during a viral clip at a show for The Forget Tomorrow World Tour. "And that's that mostly all of us here in this room tonight, in this arena tonight, have grown up together. So many of you come up to me and say, 'I grew up with you, man.'

"... I want each and every one of you to know I've grown up with you," he continued. "You have been such a big and beautiful part of my life and sometimes I can't find the words to show my gratitude that you guys just keep riding with me and riding with me."

He also added that whether these fans had been there from the early days or more recent times, he was truly grateful for their overwhelming support during this period in his life.

"...I just wanna say you guys keep loving me and coming back and spending and sharing this experience with me," he said before adding: "And from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know that until I'm somewhere off this earth, I will never forget each and every one of you.

"You made my life so special. And tonight in Chicago, you have made us feel loved," he concluded.
