Justin Timberlake shared a heartfelt message while performing at his first concert since being arrested for allegedly drunk driving.

As previously reported, the 43-year-old 'Cry Me A River' crooner was apprehended by police on Monday night (June 17) for allegedly driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons.

Timberlake was reportedly dining with friends at the American Hotel in Long Island, which is a popular destination for celebrities in the summer months.

According to a complaint obtained by the New York Post, the pop star consumed just “one martini” before leaving in his vehicle around 12:15AM.

Authorities disclosed that the 'Mirrors' singer failed to pause at a stop sign and was seen not being able to stay in his lane, which prompted police to pull him over.

The 'Sexy Back' singer was held overnight and formally charged with a DWI (driving while intoxicated) misdemeanor at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on Tuesday (June 18) morning before being released

A mugshot shared by Sag Harbor Police shows the musician looking glassy-eyed and expressionless as he faces the camera.

Page Six reported that the officer who pulled Timberlake over "was so young that he didn't even know" who the singer was. A second source added that during the arrest, the singer said: "This is going to ruin the tour."

The outlet added that the Grammy-winning star told arresting officers that he had just had one drink but refused to take a Breathalyzer test three times. He apparently tried to pass field sobriety tests but failed and was instead taken into custody.

On Friday (June 21) night, Timberlake appeared on stage for the Chicago date of his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour. He broke his silence, telling his audience that it had been a “tough week”.

Watch below:

"We've been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights," Timberlake said on stage. "It's been a tough week, but you're here and I'm here, and nothing can change this moment right now."

The 'Rock Your Body' vocalist appeared emotional as he added: "I know sometimes I'm hard to love but you keep on loving me and I love you right back."

Screaming fans cheered for their beloved singer while others took to social media to send their support.

One user wrote: "I'm so glad Chicago was able to show him so much love! Keep doing your thing JT! We will be there!" Another said: "So happy he felt alllll our love at home and in person."

A third chimed in: "Never hard to love u JT! You are loved UNCONDITIONALLY by your real fans!!" and a fourth added: "Loved u since the 90’s bruhhhhh. We all make mistakes. Dust it off. Let’s keep it moving."
