Fans have been wishing Cher a very happy birthday as the ageless entertainer celebrates turning 77 years old.
Cher took to Twitter to mark the occasion herself, writing: "Ok,Will Someone PLEASE Tell me…..When Will I Feel OLD.
"This is ridiculous. I keep hearing these numbers, but I Honestly can’t understand them. WHATS THE DEAL WITH #’s[?] I’m dyslexic & #’s Are hard 4 me."
She added: "Thank u for staying, I know it’s been hard. Got to go work out. Twitter is harder for me than
TweetBot."
And it's safe to say, her fans were also in disbelief that the 'Strong Enough' star is just three years off her 80th birthday.
They took to Twitter to flood her replies with their good wishes for her birthday, writing: "You are timeless and eternal! We [love] you, beautiful @cher!!"
Others added: "Immortal" and "Age is a number. When you open your heart (like I know you do) we are age less. The spirit hasn’t got an age."
Another commented: "Cher their is no magic age and you are ageless". (sic)
While most 77-year-olds are putting their feet up and enjoying retirement, the 'Believe' star revealed she was still working out on her birthday and has been cooking up some new songs in the studio too, including collaborations with her 37-year-old now ex-boyfriend, Alexander 'A.E.' Edwards.
In March she told E! News: "I'm going to England to make two albums. Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I'm pretty excited about that. He's a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I'm happy about that."
According to reports, the couple split this month after dating for almost a year. The pair struck up a romance after meeting at Paris Fashion Week in the fall of 2022 and the singer addressed their 40-year age gap in an interview on the Kelly Clarkson Show.
She said at the time: "On paper, it's kind of ridiculous, but in real life, we get along great. He's fabulous. And I don't give men qualities that they don't deserve."
She also addressed the age-difference on Twitter in November, responding to a since-deleted tweet from The Shade Room, adding: "LOVE DOESN'T KNOW MATH, IT SEES."
As well as being newly single, Cher is looking to start afresh with her home, too, as she put her incredible Malibu mansion on the market last October, for the princely sum of $85 million, before knocking $10 million off the asking price this April.
The 13,126 square foot home boasts seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and overlooks the Pacific Ocean, with 1.73 acres of land, and the pretty priceless history that one of the most iconic stars of all time lived there to.
Before deciding to sell the property, Cher told Architectural Digest in October 2022: "This house has been one of the greatest passions of my life. I have enjoyed every moment of its creation and evolution, but now it's time to pass this magic on to others."
For $75 million, here's hoping Cher throws in the secret to staying young forever just like she has.
