Fans on Twitter have issued some warnings to Samuel L Jackson after it appeared the veteran actor didn't realize other users were able to see what he'd been liking on Twitter. And, let's just say those likes were pretty NSFW.
Clearly fresh off celebrating his 74th birthday this week on December 21, the Django: Unchained actor must have wanted to indulge himself after appearing to like several hardcore porn videos.
Several users tweeted about it, letting the actor know that his likes were viewable to the public. Jackson swiftly acted after seeing the tweets, promptly unliking the pornographic material - though, netizens had already taken screenshots, which they added to their tweets (sadly, we can't include them in this piece... they're definitely not safe for work!)
"Can someone PLEASE tell [Jackson] his likes are public," someone commented.
"Hi mate letting you know your likes are public and everyone can see them [sic]," one person wrote in a tweet that has so far received almost 21,000 likes and thousands of retweets.
A third person posted an image of the Breaking Bad character Walter White, who is seen stuck in the backseat of a car and screaming. "NOOOOOO [Jackson] YOUR LIKES ARE PUBLIC!!!!!" the caption reads.
A further user simply tweeted a short clip from an old interview where celebrities answer the most googled questions about them. When Jackson was interviewed for the YouTube segment, one of his questions was: "Does Samuel L Jackson watch porn?" The actor replied: "Yes, I do," followed by a cheeky laugh.
Evidently a bit of foreshadowing there...
"Just realized they called [Jackson] out for liking twitter porn on his damn birthday and bullied him into unliking them n everything lmaooo I'm dead af [sic]," another person quipped.
Many people came to the defence of Jackson, like this person who tweeted: "Stop kinkshaming the guy. You're gonna stand right there and pretend you don't look at porn too? Leave the man like whatever the hell he wants."
As for Jackson himself? I guess his 74th birthday will remain memorable for many years to come.
